The battle on this Island is one of my favorite during the war, Not many people know about it even though they should, for the battle of Attu was the only battle fought on American soil. If I could make any changes to this map I would include the native Village which was south west of the air strip and I would place more defenses on the Japanese side(they used defenses heavily in this battle ).
