is there anything like this for controller users? as it is now, pausing the game doesn't let you view inventories with a controller even with this mod

np i just happen to come across it by chance when seeing what mods were out for b42 earlier today so figured that since i only just found out about it others who follow these comments might not know about it yet

@Ashadar Re'souley thanks for the share! It has been linked for those that want to use the mod in 42 for the moment (seeing as this version will stay 41 only till 42 stable). If people find that mod throws errors or inst functional as expected, feel free to share in the dedicated discussion!

Someone posted a version that works in b42 so there isn't a need to for people to manually update it themselfs anymore

So.. umm. Just wanted to report that the mod seems to be functionally working in B42. Just needs to be converted over. Found the way (super easy to do!) on Reddit.

Just a warning to everyone that decides to us this guide on other mods. Do so at your own risk and use some common sense. This one will be safe because it doesn't touch any items or values within the game, but if you used it on something like VFE or other weapon mod, it will likely mess things up.

I had no idea how hard the game was without this mod, I've used this and it's predecessor for so long.

Okay cool, LMT is such a good QoL mod but that bug was really annoying in the early game when you can't find a gas can so thanks for making this alt version that doesn't have the bug

@Ashadar Re'souley This mod has that benefit (among others) over Let Me Think because it has that conflict. This mod however is standalone and it works the same by letting you use the storage and context menus, right clicking world objects, all while the game is paused and then queuing tasks using them. They then are carried out by your character. If this description doesn't quite make sense then I'd say the description in the original LMT (https://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2033451936) might clear things up

Just to be clear so i'm not miss understanding what this mod does, so does this fix the issue where you aren't able to refuel cars with bottles?

@Jack Regan could you expand what kinda error and when it happens (additionally when it has a gameplay impact)? I've used reorder hotbar (https://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2903771337) for ages and haven't encountered any conflicts so you'll need to be specific

@maxpirk could you explain a bit more? If you're using this in multiplayer (?) then that's not going to do anything I don't think. Other than that the expectation from the mod is that you can use your inventories (without being able to actually "do" actions, think more so looking through and examining items before doing any timed action), quick action menu etc while the game is paused.

Thanks for remaking the mod. It also works fine with Vehicle Repair Overhaul as the original version of the mod was changing the propane uses for the salvaging of vehicles. Thanks Psigh for troubleshooting that. Thanks Auratian.

@Hyung, given your mod list and my personal experience with the mod, it is probably Fuel API. If you want more specific advice dealing with removing the error, check out the Errors and bug reports discussion.

@Auratian i was right clicking fuel barrel when the red error popped, i was using the old mod previously, i disabled the old mod and subbed to alternative LMT https://pastebin.com/HaXhkAFc

@Hyung, What is your mod list, and what were you doing exactly ? I will need it to troubleshoot what the problem is. I vaguely remember getting errors like this when I was using LMT, so if you have that enabled, disable it and also verify your game files.

@nubcake -MeoW- I tried recreating the extra belt you mentioned, but was unable to. It is probably another mod that is causing the problem, as our mod does not have any code to give items to players.

Both this fix and the original put an extra belt in the player's inventor at the start of a new game.

I found this mod today after finding issues with the original in an isolation test. Thank you to both original and fix authors for a great mod.

@[TEA] Tareku Seeing as you shouldn't be able to pause the game in multiplayer, I don't recommend adding this to a multiplayer server
