thank you, also is there any item spawn codes you have for these artifacts so if some of them dont spawn it I could get them that way?

Best to enable it as soon as possible, ideally *before* you enter Act 2 and the level is loaded, which is when proper item locations are set in stone, so to speak.

It's been some time since I've involved myself in this add-on so I can't recall exactly if/how it spawns items during Act 1. But I do know that at least some of them will appear.

@"If this mod is added to an Act 1 save currently in progress, the containers the items appear in will be present, but not most of the items themselves." So is there any way to get the items outside of there placed locations. 2nd question, should I wait till I'm in act 2 to add this mod since I dont know if the issues of items not spawning in properly will continue through the whole game. Thanks in advance to whom ever responds to this

I have no problem with you making your own version with adjustments. It's not like I have any sort of vested financial interest here or anything :)

I'll likely still make the odd change here and there (like I said the bow particularly had actually occured to me), but only when I can be bothered. I kind of consider this thing 'finished'.

May i have your permission to re-upload another version of this mod with tweaked balance changes? I will of course credit you and link to the original mod, along with detailing all of the differences.

I'm making it for myself but feel there may be an appetite for a more balanced version with some small nerfs here and there.

Funnily enough I have been contemplating that bow specifically. I think there was a reason I gave it that critical chance at the time, but I can't remember what that was.

I'll give it a bit bit of a revisit in the near future.

This is a really great mod. It's a nice addition finding all these unique items of which have some value and are helpful. A concern is that some however seem way out-of-proportionate as far as the bonuses. The main one so far i have an issue with is the bow. the 50% critical chance is just too much. Do you think you may be able to review the balance on these in future? Apart from that, great mod!

Yeah it's likely from another mod I have. I just haven't found that sword and I've crawled over every inch of that place. Obviously, I don't have the right location. We can move discussions on correcting the guide to that discussion thread if you'd like.

Also, yes, I may have gone overboard. But, now that I have it, I can duplicate it with other things :-)

Wow, thanks for setting up that guide - it's really awesome (more than this simplistic little mod deserves imo :D). I guess my hints are a little abstract.

As for the Fleshrender, I just jumped in and ran there to double-check. For me it is the 2H Sword it's supposed to be, in-game and in-engine The only daggers were the two Kniles has. Perhaps it's conflicting with another mod or something.

also did Fleshrender get changed to a Dagger? I found a unique dagger with that exact name in Kniles' torture chamber and never found a SW2H of the same name in a place where flesh is rended.

Appreciate the desire to want to keep some of the illusion behind the scenes, but it's frankly hard to keep track of what was found where with your hints. On the google doc, might you add the locations. Anyone going looking for hints can get them broadly or specifically based on a sheet. One with broad, one with specific.

Hey Eightspoons, I was wondering if you could write a document listing off the names (and only the names) of the items, when playing with other mods it'd getting a little tricky to tell what's from Scattered Relics and what isn't. I donno if that would be too spoiler'y thou

So it was the chaos damage then, which is a shame because I liked the randomness of the effect, but never mind.

I'm a little curious to see if 'Uncertainty' and the Wave of Chaos skill on 'Manic Helm' have similar issues in multiplayer ... if anyone wants to beta test that for me :steamthumbsup:

@L115 I wonder if perhaps it's the reflected chaos damage, however I've had no issues using whatsoever when using that item (though I only tend to run single player).

I just did a quick change to make the damage physical. Let me know if that makes any difference. I honestly can't see that it could be anything else - there's nothing that's very unusual besides the reflection.

The error we come across says;
"Script Extender has detected a desync issue. Make sure the mod versions are the same on both sides. First mismatching object: Mirrorshard"

I'd say this was a version problem if both of us hadn't downloaded it recently only, so it could be something else. Will keep trying to fix regardless, but it'd be a help if you could bring some insight on this

Hello again. Sorry to be a bringer of bad news but I think I've found a pretty serious bug/crash. I've tried using this mod along with a modpack online with a friend. It's a modpack we've run many times before but since we added this, we've been getting this error about a Script Extender Desync concerning Mirrorshard

ah, yeah I found all of them (I think) except for Wailing Chain. I just got confused on the "level to fix 1st" one.

Also I searched the vault for a long ass time, like looking around corners and stuff, sadly I'm in act 2 now :(

But I'll keep that in mind from now on, Love the uniques in this mod and that's why I spent so long trying to search the act 1 ones out!

@Rawr'ussia I'm not sure which ones you mean specifically, so here's a general summary:

Spark is in a very small chest inside that place with the static cloud

Wailing Chain, also in a very small chest - you have to look *very* closely at one of the gold piles in a certain place

Withering Branch - look for a tree stump very near the base of a vine in the swamp area, not very far from where the Frigid Wrappings are

Luckstone Ring, in a skull pile in Radeka's little area

Windlasher is easy. There's a crate near the very end.

I am looking around for the life of me for the 3-4-5 ones in act 1 and can't find anything... when I 1st played with this mod I got all the items because it was added after act 1 was 1st loaded and they were really good, I'd love to have them again I just can't find half of them :/

Further hints please?

I will check that spot again. And I'll remove and readd the app, but thats where I looked, near the turtles I also spent a long time searching the second 2 and 3rd place. The 4th place.. I've been around it, but havent memorized it like the first 3. I'll do my best :)

@kmcsjr Do you mean the items you're looking for are not showing up where they should, or just that you haven't been able to locate them?

To clear this up, I'll say exactly where the first one is: Up the vine beyond where Fane is found and the three void turtles are fought. Floating in the ocean to the left(?) there are a crate and a chest. There should be a barrel there too, and that's where the level 1 ring should be.

If it's not (and assuming the add-on is actually enabled), I'm not sure why that would be. Certainly works fine for me. I've run through the whole area every time I've made changes, just to make sure.

Sadly, I'm not finding the uniques. I re re re re re started and last game, like L115, they were at the spawn beach. This time I'm searching 5 of the first 7 places, to no avail. Bummer. I've been through the areas a few times. Nada

@L115 I just fixed that little issue Not sure it will affect existing saves without some further testing, but at least they won't all be *right there* any more.By the time you get to act 2, everything should be (more or less) where it's supposed to be.

Also, thanks for the comment. I always thought most of the uniques (at least in the first half of the game) are a little uninteresting and unmemorable, so that's why I came up with this.

Hey, I gotta say that these are some cool ideas for Uniques. Though I might've encountered a bug. Not sure if this Add-On is supposed to be installed pre-playthrough but I installed it on a pre-existing save and for some reason most if not all the Uniques in Fort Joy were at the spawn beach lying on the ground near the statue waypoint

@MusicManiac Yep, that's on purpose. It's a giant's (or troll's) ring, as per the item description :D
