For those who don't know, the best way to get these boats to float is to use explosive barrels and give them a weight of around 25k using the weight tool, I'd recommend using at least 1 barrel on each corner of the boat. When it comes to actually making the boat move thats up to you, whether thats through using thrusters or e2s :steamhappy:

yea i tested a weight changing tool on both and they are simply too heavy to float

the buoyancy is too little for them

the problem is that theese 2 are too heavy, and too small to float even with the buoyancy tool pulled up to 100%

the ships do not float, this is intentional design as I wanted them to be able to sink, you can make them float very easily by using a buoyancy tool or welding barrels to them setting their weight using a weight tool.

Honestly wish I knew you were into marine activities in gmod. I would've got something going with you for some marine roleplay or something with some ships and such. If I ever return to gmod one day, I'll be sure to reach out and see if you wanna do some "nautical" stuff. Stay well friend

Love these models. If you're looking for suggestions, I would really love to see some more warship themed ones. Maybe a battleship/cruiser type vessel with some empty spots for people to build guns. A big carrier with a big flat surface to land planes or helicopters. A ro-ro or ro-pax style ferry would also be really cool. Great work!

Just got around to actually doing the fiddler crab and I have to say that was one of the best things i've ever seen in gmod :D

@clone124642 they’re not converted map assets per say, they’re just modeled in Hammer (source mapping tool) so they look like map brushes
