@Maj. Problem, you can use the Flashlights with Lightspill addon to copy a texture path and then use the df_flashlight_texture command to assign one. That addon also has recommended settings in the description for flashlight FOV you can set here which I suggest using.

You can change the distance of the flashlight with commands in description. please just read the fine print.

This flashlight makes it difficult to see at close ranges.

Just to note
This mod, as well as other Flashlight mods that changes how Flashlights work, tend to break Pill Packs that require the flashlight keybind

can you make a option to adjust the distance between the flashlight lightsource and the player? if you go near a wall the light will just clip through and dont work at all

This mod is great. Only thing that it's missing is some lightspill to make it look even more realistic.

R_shadow was indeed at 1, however it is impossible for me to put shadows at max. I do wonder how it was able to work with it on medium for a very long time :P

your shadow settings need to be at the max, and sorry my bad, wrong console command: r_shadows

That must be the issue, my shadow settings are stuck on medium and r_drawshadows doesn't exist for me. How strange..

The addon is ok, but do be aware that it's currently bugged and from what I can see the author doesn't seem keen on fixing it soon. When you die your flashlight will turn on automatically, and you'll have to leave and join the game you were playing to fix it.
