So playing project zomboid is my first time this game I really really like I'm surprised I never encountered it out through my gaming years okay so I installed superb survivor first it runs good I got NPCs to spawn cuz I went to the settings and made MPC spawn like everyday but I encounter like four notification errors I tried fixing the errors my game is up to date but I am installed supar and I have both of them downloaded here's the part that doesn't make sense to me super survivors requires superb survivor but when launching the game it says the mod doesn't work

You would be better off using a mod that has been updated more recently. I'm surprised this one can run at all.

Alright. How the heck do you turn off "SuperiorSurvivors" that is spamming when I load a game with this? Cause all I have is Subpar and Superb and you can't use this without the other. Am I missing something?

No NPC mods work on MP because of the workarounds they have to use. Also, shouldn’t really be using this version has it is nearly 2 years out of date with the base game.

Yes the superb dev vanished again but theres another sperate mod: Superb survivors continued wich is made by one of the devs and its better but still after 1 day of playing I die of lag and I have a really beefy computer

superb survivors have lots of bugs,NPC's getting totally stuck,crashing the game and deleting the character and etc.It would be great if you keep up this work.

I don't know if the dev disappeared again. The last update for the other mod was on the 5th of February. Right now the superb mod has many issues and for a lot of players NPCs simply don't spawn at all. If you have the time and the will I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate it if you could give this mod a look once more.

Even to this day, while Superb Survivors still have lots of bug, Subpar Survivors already fixed it way ahead. Would you please consider continuing this God's work? Perhaps work together with the developer of Superb Survivors? I was one of the lucky ones who get to use this mod. Good times.

Superb survivors still has invincible bug, and there is no option to disable to warning message in mod settings.

This mod is still needed because they haven't fixed invincible survivors on Superb Survivors.

This mod is no longer needed, as the original mod it's a patch for is now being actively maintained again. You can just remove this one.

Hi Pete, the original Superb Survivors is actively updating their mod again, so this patch is no longer needed, and maintaining it would be impossible as it would require keeping up with both that mod's ongoing changes as well as the internal PZ code that the devs have begun to change as they implement a core NPC framework. I suggest you disable this mod and stick to the base SS experience only.

@SlightlyMadman When you took that screenshot how much fps did you have? Been messing around and I get like 1 fps when I have that many on screen.

I've had a really big blast with this mod, hope Superb can step up and do the same.

More over, SuperB hadn't been updated in a couple of years, since early B41. This mod was a patch for it, but then the author of SuperB came back and has been working on it. This mod is no longer needed and is thus obsolete and not being developed anymore.

Mod is discontinued. Read people. I know it's hard but you gotta do it.

I get an error saying SUBPAR CANNOT WORK WITH SUPERB once I start my game but when I try to disable SUPERB and only use SUBPAR it won't let ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all, sorry I've been unable to maintain this mod. As has been said, every single update breaks things in new ways, and it's only been getting worse since the devs are starting to work on the old NPC code which this mod and its ancestors are partly based on. Basically I had this thing working ok, then the devs started refactoring code under the hood presumably to get their NPC stuff going and it just won't hold together any more. I've added a link in the description to the new 2-in-1 and I hope that dev is able to keep up with it until the devs get something together!

It's more like these mods are held together by bubblegum and wishful thinking and so they keep falling apart with every update. Use the 2 in 1, forget when it was last updated but it's the most stable version of an NPC mod out there. Things will likely get a lot better and easier once B42 drops and shortly after that we'll start to see NPCs getting re-implemented by the devs.

So are NPC mods cursed or something? Cus every modder that does them just straight up abandon them because they don't realize this game get small updates all the time
