How long did it take completely to make this asset for the game?
Joe Beezy 4. aug. 2023 kl. 17:58
Any chance the insanely bright headlight might get fixed?
Xann 5. juli 2023 kl. 13:22

my great granddad worked for Norfolk and western in 1958 as a fireman and he helped operate the j class until they didn't need firemen anymore.

this just looks great
EpicFrostchaser 21. juni 2021 kl. 11:56
Would you make other N&W locomotives so we can honor them.
EpicFrostchaser 21. juni 2021 kl. 11:55
N&W, the last struggle of Steam.
611, 1218, 475, and others all honor the railroad that stood with there steam.

They truely were, the "Cargo Movin People" and there was no Stopping them.
MLP Derick 20. juni 2021 kl. 0:58
yes I've been waiting for 611 to be added to Transport Fever 2 thank you

Donoteat, your work is fabulous. As for us freaks who like colorable trains, I personally use them as placeholders for fictional railroads on my maps so adding a colorable effect is really helpful. Thank you so much!!

Thankyou donoteat :-)

@graflukas steam was completely phased out on all class I railroads by 1960, IIRC the N&W ran the last regular steam service that year
GrafLukas 15. juni 2021 kl. 1:13
The golden age of steam. Nothing so majestic like a big steamer.

Btw, is 1958 "late" for phasing out steam in the US? In most European countries steam would remain a thing until much later.

I think I might cry tears of joy...

Dear donoeat my dad stand beside the " flying J " drive wheels and they are taller then him he stands at 6' 2" the drive wheels stands at 7 ' 5" tall. The main reason is there is a extra water tank car for the 611 flying J 200-250 gallons of water it holds. P.S. Thankyou :-)
