I think if you want to fix your merchant you have to add inside your .object ".<frame>"

like that = protectorateobjectsvending.png:<color>.<frame> (for both side)

like the neonstore

i see that right now it's just protectorateobjectsvending.png:<color> but you use a merchant with multiples frames !

@NRanvier13 lol it was a programming assignment for my college program, we were required to use assets but didn't have to make them ourselves, so I dug through the game files to find something that would work.

@McKaby, you may have a mod confliction or there may have been an error when installing the mod! Try unsubscribing and redownloading, that might solve it! If not, we'll see what we can do. Apologies for such a late response!

I hate to say this, but this appears bugged, as that I can't access the vendor and my Log (when built it) shows

I just thought I'd ask, cuz I like it, (with the cool tower it came with. I can send you an image if you like)
I want to find out who added (gets hard to keep track when you have hundreds of mods) the shuttle, cuz it's cool, but it can only fly so high, so it can't fly over the tall vanilla tower/ruins that show up on lush planets

@Terraformer oh, that!! omg, i can't believe i didn't remember that. that's not in this mod! i could see about adding it but i'm not confident i could code it to be anything but a regular object so if you're looking for it to randomly appear places and/or drop items, that's probably above my pay grade :/

@Terraformer the only screenshots i'm seeing is the vanilla ruins and then you getting swarmed by enemies (and one stellaris screenshot), i'm sorry. maybe you have the screenshot set to private?

k I don't know why you don't see it... it's the first screenshot and it's very clear to see.
The stubby ruins tower in the other screenshot is vanilla-ruins, etc,
currently there's no screenshot with the protectorate tower I mentioned...

@Terraformer i'm not seeing a shuttle in your screenshots :( the tower looks like the vanilla ruined houses/towers, all the materials that make those up are already available!

oh sorry I guess I could more clearn.
There's a microdungeon that's appeared on my starting world where there's a tower with some chests in it, and a shuttle craft that can drop capsules.
I'll get a screen shot when I can

@Terraformer yeah, i'm not sure why the merchant doesn't show up in the placing preview, i'll take a look when I have time, though. as for adding a protectorate tower with a shuttle, i'm not entirely sure what you mean, like one of the buildings parts from the intro mission?

is the mod that adds a protectorate tower with a shuttle that you can find? I have a lot of mods, but this is one of the few protectorate ones, so I thought I'd ask

I thought this mod was broken for a little while, because I couldn't see the merchant when trying to place it.
I'd suggest a little fix up for that.

@Yo not sure what you mean. If you want to pick it back up afterwards, just break the bottom left corner, and it should turn into an item you can pick up.
