I've only just found out about this and was really keen to try it, but I'm having problems playing it from the UK. Apparently it's struggling to get the content from imgur, which no longer operates in the UK (since September 2025). I've downloaded a VPN putting my connection in the USA, but I still get the messages saying "Load image failed, unsupported format when I try and import ".

It seems to be happening in relation to "Custom Token", "Custom Model" and "Custom Figurine".

Has anyone else experienced this?

It's an -incredible- mod to be sure!

But tipping is one of those areas where "fan material" can be seen as "challenge to IP rights" and cause the whole thing to come crashing down.

Now, if the creator of the mod happened to have a Patreon we could follow where they tell us whether or not Mick Jagger is still alive, well... that'd be perfectly legal.

Yep, coming soon, basically. There was a ton of additions in that season too. Must be hell to Script it right after importing everything. I appreciate Lukeyy19 tremendously.

I'm wondering that when I select the expansions including The Horsemen of Apocalypse, the 2 locations from this expansion will 100% become the using location simultaneously, but I don't mean to. Can you fix that?

I've noticed that the 2 locations from The Horsemen of Apocalypse expansion will get a threat card even though they shouldn't.
Also any chance of adding the equipments cards in the future?

The one I tried prior just to confirm data was Taskmaster where I loaded and closed down 20 times to determine how often it might occur.

Actually, @Lukeyy19 the first time I went to provide the click path was the first time I ever actually used Loki. I can't remember every villain, but I can recall Avalanche, Kingpin, Doctor Doom at least, all having the same issue. I've started playing a MU Legacy campaign and have gone through several villains, with different specific locations and still have the issue. I know using only X-Men locations, and Spiderverse locations also produces the problem. And to the earlier question, I'm usually already seated on white (does have the problem), but sometimes reseat to yellow (does have the problem), but I'm 100% always seated somewhere.

I have done some testing and I can reproduce the issue you mention only when the Avenger's locations are selected and you choose Loki as the villain, I tried other location sets and deselecting Avengers and Loki worked fine, and I tried other villains and they worked fine with the Avengers locations selected, but when combining the Avengers locations and Loki for some reason the scripting stops half way through, I have looked through the scripting to find out why but I'm having trouble seeing a cause, but will keep investigating. Do you know of any other combinations that cause the same thing or is it just Avengers locations with Loki?

Sorry, the challenges option is a separate thing that just places the stuff for the selected challenges on the table as and when you click them, it doesn't have any effect on the rest of the setup.

When you load in are you selected as the white player and already "seated" at the table before you start the setup or are you setting up the game as the black/grey unseated player?

Clickpath I use when problem occurs:
- Start TTS
- Create > Single Player
- Choose Marvel United - Full (Scripted) from Workshop > Load
- Wait for all assets to load
- Click "Standard Game"
- Click Done (no selection made) on Challenges
- Check Avengers, Spiderverse, X-Men > Place Selected Locations
- Click "Loki" on Villains
*** Note, results are the same with other selections made for Challenges, Locations, Villains.
Most of the time, I observe:
- Master Plan cards shuffle
- Villain randomly moves to a space on the board (assuming other than when random results in no move)
- Health tokens are placed on villain
- Animation stops

Every once in a great while (~1 in 20 times) it will also:
- Shuffle the threat deck
- Distribute threat cards to each location
- Place health on henchmen threat cards

@Lukeyy19 the challenges and locations both appear at the same time, so "order they appear" isn't consistent, and the challenges stay on the screen when you're selecting the villain. However, I've tested this quite a bit and it entirely seems random when it does and doesn't place the threat and heal on henchmen after testing the exact same sequence over 20 times. Something's off.

@Deeklow Stu - There's no secret, you should never have needed to add your own locations or anything, as long as you select things in the order they show, it should always setup automatically.

@Mand0 @austin007 @Lechuck can you give me some examples of links that don't work for you?

Threats question: typically when I set up the game, I have to manually deal out the cards to each location and then add health for any henchmen. It's not that problematic, so I've never thought anything of it. However, I think I may have changed the order I did things between selecting locations, choosing challenges, and choosing villains - I don't remember the order, but it actually dealt out all the threat cards and added health to the henchmen. I've been trying and I can't reproduce it! Anyone know the secret, special order to click things to invoke that part of the script?

Can confirm, a lot of imgr links don't appear to be working.

I'm not a dev or anything, but all my images and standees appear to be fine. Then again, there's hundreds of elements involved, so it might be more constructive to list a few broken images/standees.

A lot of hero standees are not working right now. :(

@rudiologist: you buy a copy of Tabletop Simulator on Steam, hit the subscribe button on this page above, and it should be an option inside of Tabletop Simulator when you create a game.

How do I download this so I can play?

Is there any simple way I could modify the script (without much knowledge of scripting), so that I can do the automatic setup for everything except the locations? I have my own semi-random method for choosing those, and as it is I just have to delete the ones that are placed, because there seems to be no way to automatically place the villain without having it place locations first.

@Lukeyy19 open to extra help to bring S3 to the people faster? I have my all-in pledge if you need anything

hi I'm a big fun of this mod from China and I'm still waiting for the CMON China to release the Chinese version of season 2 and 3. So recently I can only play it on tts and really thanks for your work! Besides, Boom-Boom's deck seems a little bit wrong when I compare it with the wiki, It is supposed to be 2 hit and run cards and only 1 hit card and there is a twist in the mod. I'll continue to check the other mistakes and wait for season 3, thank you!

Had to come here and give a massive shout out to the folks making this mod as it is genuinely so amazing and I hope they all know how much people like me appreciate being able to play content that would otherwise cost a fortune. Thank you so much for all you do and hope you keep going in the future!

marvel united wiki is quite useful to get the cards and locations scans, only the big dashboards like wreking crew and dark beast I still not find them

@jaydencherry I believe Tabletop Sim has what it calls a hot seat mode where multiple people can play on the same pc just taking it in turns. You will see each others cards though so it may not work for super villain or team vs team mode.
