Can confirm as of 10/21/25 the mod is still affecting "The Deserter" quest, throwing "grammar resolution trace".

Hey, I've really enjoyed the mod so far, but I'm pretty sure I found a bug in 1.6.
It doesn't seem to be responding well to drop pod raids nor the deserter quest.
I hope you could get this fixed eventually, since this mod is a must for my current playthroughs, thanks for the work you put into modding 🙏

(it straight up doesn't allow any drop pod raids/allies, items are fine
(I haven't been able to check if the ally drops actually work or not, since it just doesn't allow me to spawn drop pods events

(deserter quest + text error from it
(in the quest info it shows unusual text, doesn't seem to be loading it correctly, the hunter party doesn't show up either

Combine this with the MiningCo alert speaker, Red Alert lights (though that one might be kinda buggy) and one of the fog of war mods and you've got yourself a scary night ahead of yourself that could end at any time.

Maybe especially good for Anomaly / Zombie stuff.

Try this experiment patch for rim war. I patch in the raid incident def a lower chance of spawning.

Try moving the mod to the bottom of the mod list. So it gets loaded last.

So heads up that this patch does something to error out QuestNode_Raid (aka "I'm being chase, accept me and then fight them off").

Basically the person will show up, and the raid part never happens. Though I can devmode a raid with the listed specs just fine.

hmm well... you asked for it!

- vanilla "wander in" events like wild man and thrumbo and traders and visitors and passersby and also ambrosia sprout
- Vanilla Events Expanded similar events such as caravan/battle animals wander in, wild tribe wanders in, hunting party, crop sprout etc.
- Chemshined Muffalos from Vanilla Factions Expanded - Settlers
- various events from Vanilla Factions Expanded - Insectoids
- slaver and pillager raids from Vanilla Factions Expanded - Vikings
- relevant Alpha Animals events such as Black Hive raids

... I could keep going but I think it better I keep the list, uh, short. xD

hauvega this really does synergize quite well with Real Fog of War. Thank you for that.

If you ever expanded it into compatibility with other popular mods' events, I wouldn't complain!

I'm about to try this alongside both Real Fog of War AND Pre-emptive Strike (forked) at the same time, so we'll see... :thinking:

just tested with scheduled events and all worked properly. must be some other mod.
