yes, as long as the custom weapon model is using the default VMT/material files

weapon shaders and other ones will work if the shader settings are set to high or very high. they will not work if shader settings are set to medium or low

no this doesn't fix that problem since it is a model issue. there is a fix by ihcorochris here.

Firearms Reshaded removes most of the reflections and the pack does not edit L4D1 weapon textures

if you were talking about my Item Shaders then that addon edits the way some items like the Molotov looks

this mod does work with weapon reanimations because it does not edit models

i think it's an issue with the old scar model. i looked at the updated model and it doesn't have any issues except the flashlight. but the old model had the issues

the underrail like the thing under the gun have black textures and the grip on the gun has a hole or some kind of z-fighting going on with it
