The mod causes the game to crash when starting a campaign; please update it. I really liked that mod when it still worked.

yes agreed. when i use every other variety pack besides the spitter on top of my other mods, no crash. as soon as i add the spitter, killing her sometimes makes a crash. i feel like it might be the animations but i could be wrong, but regardless this is the only pack that makes me crash. i've been using all 10 other packs for a few weeks with no issues.

I agree this is the only variety pack that causes crashes, I can have so much more installed but having this spitter RNG pack crashes, it should be worth looking into

It happens if you have too many rng mods.
It exceeds the game's memory limit and crashed.
You can lower the Paged Pool Memory to medium or low.

However I can still run all the packs + other rng mods together without problems. But maybe you have too many.

does anyone know why this mod in particular out of ALL of the variety mods would cause persistent crashing?

maybe upload them as seperate mods and put links for the updated versions in the discription of the old versions so people know about it?
might be more tedious to do so but i think thats a reasonable way of doing it without causing trouble for the people who subbed to the old versions

again, i'd greatly appreciate it if you did that

Maybe, but if I add the skeletons now, a lot of people will start having issues and won't realize that now they need an extra mod.

is it possible to reimplement the skeletons?
since they havent been updated in a year and it looks like they will probably(?) not receive any anymore, i would greatly appreciate it as the v-packs are amazing and it is a shame having to decide between them and the animation fixes :/

by "them" you mean the basic skeleton support? or just the skins that didnt support it?

It used the unified skeletons long ago, I removed them because I couldn't keep up with the constant updates.

i know in the disclaimer it says that most of these skins are not yours
however, it would be amazing if the charger/spitter/jockey v-packs could be asjusted to work with the "unified charger/spitter/jockey skeleton" mods to get the benefits of the associated "Fixed L4D2 Special Infected Animations + Generic Flinches" mod
maybe its possible for you to contact the respective creators and ask them if they could do that... not that i got my hopes up tho lol

it crashes on me and others ends when we shoot it (i have low pp memory too)

When I want to use them I have all of them enabled, maybe you have too many rng or hd mods.

Do you enable all your Variety Packs when playing? or do you switch between them and have like 2 or 3 enbaled at a time. when i use the jockey,charger,sptiter,hunter and tank variety packs and have them all enabled they just seem to crash, i have experimented with the memory pool but nothing really fixes it.

All variants/models/skins will spawn everywhere. Same for all packs.

In the l4d1 campaigns, does it spawn only the l4d1 styled models/skins for the spitter? Or is it possible for any skin (l4d2 included) to be spawned alongside the others?

Say for example, im on no mercy, and a Spitter spawns, will it only pick a l4d1 styled skin/model? or can it pick any of the mod pack?
Same question goes for the other vpacks, do they keep the l4d1 models in l4d1 or does it mix it around?

Both Junkie and Shopper skins are included in the map specific Spitter mod Phantom made, which is compatible with this mod.

There's nothing much to do with these pack, all it's pretty complete.
I am waiting for the L4D1 Charger for the charger v-pack, but nothing else...
Maybe if someone releases any new skin/model that I really like, I'll add it.

@SirWololo I've been meaning to ask, are you still going to continue to update and keep different skins (both old & new) within these variety packs of yours?

No, what? That's not how it works. You just need to subscribe to this mod and the required one.
It comes with all the models in the list, if you don't want the L4D1 spitter this mod is not for you.
