Huh? That's new. Have you tried possible solutions from FAQ? Something ain't right

Last time I checked it was impossible due to sv_cheats being set to 1. Map uses it for it's mechanics. You also die a lot during training, and there's a tricky way to restart the map instantly without you watching "YOU ARE DEAD" screen for a few minutes.

why not just make it into a Champaign

Map is locked on advanced.

is the default dificulty expert?

You legend. Took me at least 7 minutes of practice before I got my first one-shot, but one I started getting it, I got the one shot consistent with every shotgun.

Excellent map for training, I have mastered the art of witch crowning thanks to this, still haven't been able to melee solo or use the propane explosion properly, maybe if the map could give a proper explanation on when to melee dodge or where to place the explosion, it would help a lot with those strategies, that would be my only complaint, otherwise, great map.

No, map requires sv_cheats to be set to 1, and this disables the achievements.

\/ NVM. For some reason when I added the two training maps all my keybindings for movement got mysteriously deleted. resetting to default fixed the issues.

I'd love to play this map, however every time I load it up no matter what I try, I can't move. Can't pick up weapons, can't crouch, nada-zip. Just look around with my arm out

You can stun her with an explosion or sniper headshot from some distance and keep her stunned by shoving her with any weapon, including melee. While she's stunned, she can be easily killed with melee. There's a part about it in the video.

how i started it tutorial (for germans):
1. enable console
2. close game and open properties on steam
3. -console in starting stuff
4. sv_cheats 1 when starting with console
5. map sb_witch coop in console

unfortunately i couldnt bind "F9" "toggleconsole", neither in console nor in the default.cfg. even checking the english layout didnt help me. so i always can start it when running the game at start

Ok map but needs more range to the witch so you can try the headshot => melee tactic.

Really sorry, but I don't think I can help you.
I've never seen an error like that in 7 years of this map.
You MIGHT try to check local cashe for l4d2 in steam properties, but even that is not a guarantee.
So try to unsubscribe, check local cashe, subscrive and download the map again.

Yes, i typed all console you say but game said "failed to find location to spawn witch" or something like that

Now that I squeeze my brains to remember, I think the reasoning behind locking the map on Advanced was following:

1. There's no difference between headshot damage taken by Witch on Advanced and Expert, but body shot damage is lower than on Normal. On Normal, it's possible to kill the Witch with a single correct body shot. Locking the map on higher difficulty will assure that people will learn to kill her only with a correctly placed headshot, and won't develop any false skills with accidental body shots.

2. On Expert, a single hit of Witch kills the player, and you'd have to sit through a really long and annoying death screen and then watch the map's "campaign" being restarted. Assuming you'll get killed a lot, you'd be forced to waste a lot of time watching these scenes. Game logic didn't allow me to quickly restart the map if all players are dead.

3. If change of difficulty was allowed, people would change it willy nilly and would learn nothing lol.

Why would someone put this on advance mode.....

If you want to play this map as expert, just open console and ( i don't know if needed ) type "sv_cheats 1" and then "z_difficulty impossible" --> ( repeat "z_difficulty impossible" when you die )
