hello! Just wanted to make you aware that this mod is causing my game to crash.

it states it as a 'configuration error' and reads the following error:

railVehicle/configs/axles: mesh 'Vehicle/train_40ft_gondola/lod_0_w1.002_lod0.msh' does not exist railVehicle/configs/axles: mesh 'Vehicle/train_40ft_gondola/lod_0_w1.002_lod1.msh' does not exist

let me know if there is anything i can do, and i should, hopefully, get back to you!
im only in 1911 on this save, so you would maybe think i would get this error on the release date, but nonetheless was looking forward to include it into my trains soon enough!

+1 the VGN trucks are broken

VGN and UP skins have broken bogies/trucks.

Updated, now requires CiscoKidd's Bettendorf trucks. Also added an option in the assets for a randomized skin. And increased the metal-glossiness of the SOU cars.

All I would need really is the uv map but thanks for perms

@themeatballhero - Since TpF1 I've been telling myself that I would model a 40 or 41 ft gondola like this. Did all the research, but never had the patience to learn 3D modeling. So I am so happy that you created this.

I think these are nice! one complaint - those trucks the cars ride on would likely have been outlawed/banned from interchange service in the 1930s.

@Connie @KubaKorea yeah the V&T ones are terrible, I agree. Its something I'd be willing to refine, slap some couplers on and reskin. I'll look into that.

@Connie, you said it. I was hoping they'd at least remove the V&T text when the second game came out. It's bloody annoying. But I'm glad someone is making more US stock, excellent mod!

now, we need wood-side steel-frame boxcars, because the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ V&T ones make me pop a blood vessel
