Works on 1.5 but there are some bugs.
Had to reinstall because animals disappeared and they'd leave a small red block (like bleeding) behind them when moving. (i zoomed out with camera+ then back in and they were gone)
Sometimes multiples of the same eg pikemen shows the vanilla texture on some with retextures on others.

Its sad the author isn't active in the rimworld modding community anymore or there's anything similar because this artwork is beautiful

Same for me. This mod is the absolute last one in my load order and still some vanilla animals have their vanilla texture, for example muffalos and boomalopes.

I've only ever played with this mod as my friends got me into rimworld multiplayer. Having to redo my mods for 1.4 makes me realize how unpolished-feeling the base game is(even though its fine). Played for a while without this and then got tired of muffalo/buffalo visuals and refound this, put it in the top of my order and animals look great again. Thank you

Is there a way to just use one of the reskins? Because the yak actually looks like a yak, instead of whatever naked abomination the vanilla texture is supposed to be.

Its just a texture mod. It shouldn't conflict with anything. Only thing it would do at worst is overwrite another mod that changed the same texture

So I deleted my previous comment because I learned that the Vanilla expanded factions are different than the vanilla (base-game) factions, and HC's reskins only edit the base-game factions.
(the animals should still be changed by HC.Reskins if you load order is right, as they are for me, but anything new like the VFE-Mechs and the VFE-Insects will be different)

I love the giddy-up mod and I'd like to have saddles on my animals, but your reskin mod is top-tier and I don't want the risk of breaking the textures or the saddles not matching the animals. The creator hasn't been around in two months, so I wanted to ask you directly.
