I subscribed, fired up a new game, and what's the first thing I see? A golden sea serpent! :happypolitician: Here, have some points!

Lovely mod but neptune looks out of place. I thought the mod was bugging out really.

Is that how it's supposed to look?

good

Doesn't work for me. All it does is disable the keyboard shortcuts. Map looks the same.

Gotta hand it to the two of you. Thought this was a bit of fluff but tried it on a lark. It really works! Makes the map far less blah. Definitely a qol winner.

It still looks like a blue blob...

@Fifthcolumn No that's just what he looks like. If you look at him without the mod he's just a shadow under the water's surface.

Thank you!

I think there’s an issue with King Neptune not having any features

I see you've done some work on the FOW and was wondering if you might consider another project. I've done some looking into it, but can't quite figure it out. Would it be too much work, or not possible at all, to make the FOW essentially "clear"? Basically the idea is to see the entire map, from the start, without activating all of the "wonders found" and "civs met" stuff.

thks! nice! :)

yeah more muted colors that look more aged would be best imo

I was expressing an opinion opposite theirs.
MiniRagnarok  [auteur] 16 jun 2020 om 16:37
@Sailor Cat and @Raven_2012, the latest version is toned down. You either haven't updated yet or your saying that it's still too bright. That should give you some indication of how bad it was when the other people were commenting. :)
Sailor Cat 16 jun 2020 om 9:15
The bright colors are nice. Don't let these dudes steal the light from your life, like Civ V's terrain steals the color from everything.
Royal Raven 16 jun 2020 om 8:47
I have not tried it yet, but I get what people are saying. It think if the colors were more subtle, had a faded look to it, it would work. Remember it is a map and it has wear and oldness to it, so the colors would be faded too, on the map.
inahut 15 jun 2020 om 8:23
maybe try more than one version of same mod, offering bright or muted coloring.
I initially subscribed to this thinking of it being similar to the way "Colorized Era Score" and "Colorized Historic Moments" are rendered, which is immediately appealing because of the coloring yet is somehow continuous with the art of the game as well. Your mod of course is visible all the time as long as there are unexplored spaces. Just offering my opinion. Thank you.

Thanks for the feedback, we're playing around with the saturation which should make it less distracting for people
weraptor 15 jun 2020 om 0:52
too bright
Danny 14 jun 2020 om 19:21
looks alittle too brightly colored but i love this idea, gonna sub anyway. big fan of your previous mod btw
jsnider193 14 jun 2020 om 16:52
nice add to the game thanx
inahut 14 jun 2020 om 16:19
Very brightly colored. Coloring contrasts strikingly with surrounding map. The very bright green dragon that appeared on the first map I played with this mod entirely stole my attention away from the game. I unsubscribed immediately, preferring not to have this distraction right now. Perhaps later.

Thanks
