Another mod is overriding that logic, because this mod handles changing the camera back to first person. I cannot help you.

the mod has a small problem. If a player is driving in third person, when they exit the vehicle they remain in third person. it is not put back into the first person. Can you fix this error? Thank you!
(P.S.: ...obviously third person is disabled on my server...)

The camera distance is not controlled by this mod. That's handled by the defined camera for that vehicle in script. I will not be adding that kind of functionality to this mod as it's unrelated and would create conflicts with mods that use custom cameras for vehicles.

@Wardog... might want to update "Upon starting your server with the mod installed, a file called 3PPVehicleWhitelist.json will be created in your profile directory" - Only if you have vehicles spawning on the map, if not you need to manually spawn a vehicle for the .json to appear. ;) Sorry if this is already noted somewhere I did not spot it. It should be mentioned that the 3PPVehicleWhitelist.json file is created at the root of the profile folder.

Cameras are client sided, this is a client mod.

Can I enable this server-side or does it need the clients to have it loaded?

I'm not going to support this as it's too niche and requires unnecessary coupling to the PVEZ mod along with a mess of allowing configuration, which is out of scope for the behavior of this mod.

I want to add the PVEZ Reloaded mod to the server and set up PvP zones in which the camera will be locked to 1PP, but I want to allow switching to 3PP in the vehicle.
Unfortunately switching then doesn't work in PvE zones where 3PP is normally enabled. Respectively, it only works when you enter the vehicle in 1PP mode.

@George7707 idk if you dump or something but you DONT NEED the mod on a 3PP Server this works only for Server who runs on 1PP LMAO. Change your Server to 1PP than you can use this Mod. (1PP = First Person - EGO) and (3PP = ThirdPerson - You see all)

@Wardog Because I want to combine your mod with PVEZ Reloaded. I want to lock PvP zones to 1PP with the option to switch to 3PP only in the car.
Unfortunately with your mod then there is a problem with switching the camera in PvE as I described.

Not sure why you installed the mod if you're using a 3PP server

Unfortunately on my server with 3PP enabled the mod does not work.
When I switch to 1PP and get in the car as a driver, I can switch between 1PP and 3PP without any problems.
When I'm switched to 3PP and get in the car as a driver, switching between 3PP and 1PP doesn't work.
In the mod settings I have "DriverOnly": "true", "Whitelist":[]
I only have the mods @CF;@Dabs Framework;@Community-Online-Tools;@Vehicle3PP loaded so a collision with another mod is not possible.
Any idea how to fix this ?

Chilliy if you report something at least provide some error logs so that I can take a look into the issue you're having, as it could be unrelated and a mod conflict, as the mod still works just fine.

3LND this mod does nothing with camera placement or movement, it only manages accessibility to the 3PP camera, this mod will not make your character look at the ground when getting out of a vehicle.

Not sure if its this mod but when you get out of vehicles it auto makes you look on the floor trying to find out what it is but just a suggestion just incase it is this mod
