For the airport the runway marking will be white - as there is no runway markings for airfields - I have created those from existing airfield elements. In my next project I am creating a custom white runway markings but airfield markings for the moment will remain in this configuration ;)

I tried but was unsuccessful ...:( airports and airfields have slightly different set of parameters. Will try doing it in my next airport project!

I know what you mean. Modding for TpF is a lot of poking through files and learning from other modders.

That's a great idea however since it's my second creation I'm still learning and working things out from scratch it will be some time until I figure it out. For the moment I recommend a great mod called Fences ;)

Nice airports. Here's a thought, make the perimeter fence an option. You can set default to None, but have the option for those who want it.
