question? can you toggle it? like you have separete block with no edge? because i want to use this but i dont want it to ruin my other builds on my world. and if this is still not a feature. could it maybe become one?

I'm using it, so I highly doubt it is this mod in isolation. What other mods do you have loaded? And can you upload your crash log somewhere I can look at

The advantage of this MOD is a great look without the armor edges.
The disadvantage is that almost every save game _and_ server game is crashing at the end of save game loading/server booting when the sceneario is growing by the time. (And I mean normal playing a scenario, not using hugh PCU hungry buildings.)
It is sad to say but after removing this MOD from each oof the MOD lists in single player and server games all loading and booting attemps are successfull like before using tthis MOD. Same behavier called by friends.

the armor blocks finally came.

Is there a way to force an update? I used a mod to replace a bunch of blocks and they came in with edges, and I can't find a way to get rid of them without just ripping off the piece and placing a new one.

Are there any plans to upload this to mod.io?

I find edges useful for see if I've made any discrepancies. They also help give detail if you have a pattern of very similar colors. There are a few cases where I don't want edges, but most of the time they don't bother me.
It's nice to know someone else likes/appreciates them too.

well as far as i understood the Plugin Loader mod for SE, there is not much differance to the usual scripts, just that one then can also install them from within the game without first subscribing on steam and the scripts would be held either on steam or on github(or just there). Any plugin/script is client side and can be used on all multiplayer servers. anyways it is rather convenient to use when one does not need to pestor the server admins for some mods to be installed =)

Nope. It merely disables the rendering of block edges. No changes to hitboxes or anything like that.

Does this affect hitbox in any way? I tried to make a vault door with a large gear and nothing liked to fit well together. I'd be willing to bet the door being as heavy as it was had something to do with it, but just curious in case it does and I could actually make it work potentially.

It uses this mod as a dependency. That way all flavors of the mod don't need duplicated code/assets.

That mod you linked simply combines the 2 mods listed as dependencies. It is cleaner this way.

@Blue-Steel As I understand it..... it's to show that the block is unsupported. My guess is that it's only attached to 1 other block or something. I haven't really tested.

I personally like them bc they make the armor look less razor sharp and unnatural, but I don't like how only some armor blocks have them.

What even is the point of armor edges? I'm pretty sure nobody thinks they look good, so wtf was Keen thinking?

I'm not sure if it was this version of the mod, but I've since used the scratch/edge removal mod you've made along with the camera overlay on my DS with no problem since. So I've no idea why that mod was showing in the error log. Thanks for responding though :)

It should work fine. There is nothing special about this mod that should make DS unhappy with it.

TBH this should be a feature in vanilla Space Engineers. Some blocks have edges, some don't, and those that do usually make your builds look bad. Either give all blocks edges or none. Personally, I'd prefer the latter...
