@Gordon Freeman If I recall correctly, the only flex they have is opening their jaw. Try captain charles. He probably has the non-HD scientists in one of his packs.

@Margaret That is a very trivial thing that would be more hassle than it is worth to me. You can do it yourself by overriding the relevant material. Extract sci_glasses_lens.vmt from this addon and copy it to: garrysmod\materials\models\hlscientistplayermodels\scientist\sci_glasses_lens.vmt. Then edit it and remove the $additive and $translucent lines.

@Dr. Gordon Freeman Oh huh that's so strange, I could have sworn that Captain Charles had already uploaded playermodels of the Half-Life HD character models. Maybe I'm misremembering something I saw on game banana. At any rate it looks like he only made pms from gearbox's dreamcast and ps2 versions and I'm surprised I can't find anyone who did pms from the PC HD models either. I'll try again later to see if I can find anything and if I don't I might just do them myself.

But who created those addons? I tried finding ones and I just saw yours so far.

But when I try it, it just replaces to the LD ones. I want one in this addon style.

@Dr. Gordon Freeman This has already been done by some guy who created gmod playermodels from the original, HD, Dreamcast, and PS2 versions of Half-Life. It should be easy to find on the workshop.

@M11 The original creators of these models only skinned the thumb and index finger to a realistic bone chain. When I converting these models from HL:S to gmod, I chose not to take the time required to skin the remaining fingers myself, and I left the full hand skeletons in the model simply for the sake of compatibility. Many addons expect playermodels to be a complete valve biped, including the hands, even if not all the bones are actually used. This can lead to issues if your playermodel is missing some of those expected bones.

I'm confused, these have finger bones, but they don't actually work.

@𝔊𝔞𝔯𝔯𝔬𝔩𝔡 There are no HD models of the combine assassins in HLS. Many people have already ported the assassins from the GoldSrc and Gearbox versions, which may be suitable for your needs. Use the workshop search.
