Good map, however, the ending is a bit trash. It's WAY to long of a trek in the deep water to be fun. To many zombies and specials . Not enough Meds and Ammo.

Map sucks unfortunately lmao the parts where you have to go underwater do not work in Left 4 Dead, you can't swin in this game. Those should've been changed to adapt to this fact, but they weren't. If you go underwater, you can just get stuck because of some small pipes that you can't swim or jump over.

This Map looks so crapy and cheap and im sure never ever would use this kind of dumb design for any real game... hahaha u got joked I LOVE HALF LIFE 2!!!

Constructive criticism is better than whining to the mod creator that you don't like the map.

I'm not sure what the original campaign creator was thinking on that last section. but it is a serious pain in the ass when you have to walk through the all the water with a bunch of non-stop infected in your face with no room to move.

For the author:
Please get out of videogame modding and go work somewhere where you have a manager\supervisor\overseer\editor on top of you, you are the reason those jobs exist because you can't be trusted to be left on your own creative endeavors (or lack thereof).
If you have the time to make this, even though it probably took 15% of the time normally spent making a campaign, you clearly have time to do something else with your lifel.
If you have to rely on people knowing the original game to play this campaign remotely well, you have failed completely. Maybe at most just spend your time porting assets for other modders to use.

Telling the player to summon a rescue then telling them to rush to the safe room right after is literally failing basic english class and failing to understand how Left 4 Dead is played, either you are protecting yourself in a zone or you are rushing to a saferoom, when you summon rescues you stay and protect yourself until the rescue arrives.
There is no noise or visible event that causes the infinite hordes, just the bootleg campaign designer decided it would happen for no in game trigger other than reaching a place.
This project should have been stopped before it even started, who the hell thinks a glorified boat racing tutorial level for half life 2 would make for a good left 4 dead campaign where you have to walk everywhere and half of the time you are either underwater or with water up to your neck?
All the other problems just stack up on what is something that fails from the start if the modder spent 5 minutes thinking about something before deciding about doing it.

Spawning a tank behind a door after the players open it is just being a straight up imbecile, since they don't expect it because there is no tank noise to make you aware a tank is nearby.
The zombie hordes definitely don't work with water\sewage since you have your speed limited but they don't.
The bots get stuck on barrels and the idiotic electric container and die because it is impossible to make them get up when they are constantly being damaged.
Of course this has an more than one infinite horde level since it is what non creative people do.
Take someone else's work, port it in the most creatively bankrupt manner and shove a infinite horde on top of the survivors.
Weapon availability is a disgrace, as expected.

I have never seen a more soulless port of a map, not only does it not add anything to make the maps remotely work as a left 4 dead campaign, but the barrels who in the original HL2 game are thrown by the combine soldiers are simply "falling off" on the path of the survivors here already lit on fire, meaning you are being damaged or killed by the stupid map designer rather than something that entirely depends on your choice, mistakes and\or playstyle.
I am not even gonna ask why out of all Half Life 2 levels the hovercraft one was chosen for this, it's design is not only not balanced for walking but it does not work for left 4 dead.
Tank and witch placements are random at best or are straight up sabotage of the path the players must take.

this was a great campaign, i loved the intensity throughout it until the finale. it was easily one of the hardest finales ive ever done. its just a nonstop horde of zombies while you are mostly in water so its nearly (if not completely) impossible on expert, i was playing solo w/ bots on advanced and could not do it so i had to switch to normal and barely made it out. it was also super disappointing to find out the "help" you called was just a safe room and then the game ends. 9/10

Make the final run shorter, Or atleast put some ammo supplies there and maybe some explosives, Oh and take some zombies from the last run.

Feels kinda crappy... WAAAAAAY too many explosive barrels in just about every level, constant hordes with little breathing room and traversing HL2 levels in L4D2 feels too slow without popping adrenaline shots every minute.

the campaign also breaks in versus (or at least the single versus mod i use), no textures, error signs and broken lighting

Do i have to download all the half life texture packs to play this? I have addons that change the look of everything, and i don't want to remove/disable those. Also, if i have half life 2 already downloaded, will i need to download the textures?

This was a fantastic remake! I absolutely loved every detail that went into it, it is one of my favourite Half Life 2 maps in L4D2. I like how you put supplies where all the lambda caches from the original game were, as well as scripting all the horde events to coincide with the scheduled barrel explosions. Each level, excluding the last one, were also a very good length for the amount of content there was. Said that, the last level was really intense but also incredibly long. Feels a bit unfinished since it was a saferoom finale. I'm super excited to see what the updated finale will be! Overall, amazing job!!!

9.5/10, highly recommend if you're a Half Life fan!
