@RF Left 4 Marathon works if I want to play all 14 maps in one go. But I only want to play 7 maps being combined into one mission instead of 14. I'm saying if you want to play ONLY either L4D1 maps (7 maps total) OR L4D2 maps (7 maps total) which says in update 16.1.21 you can through Mutations. I'm reporting you that it doesn't work as expected; as in it's not combining the 7 maps into 1 mission.

Workshop currently has issues so that might have to do with it.

yes it is. you go to addon campaigns and it says left 4 marathon or left 4 marathon l4d1 it's how ive been doing it from the beginning since i deleted it

@sinwithagrin L4D2 mutation uses the the normal left 4 marathon mission.

@Dragons952 You didnt choose "Left 4 Marathon" from ADDON campaigns, this does not touch the normal maps in the normal map list.

something is up with the l4d2 campaigns only mutation. selected it in the mutations tab not seeing it in my addons campaign tab. not sure what's going on. i'm gonna try a few things and maybe i can figure out what's going on

As for how I played only L4D1 campaigns. I just didn’t use Mutations mode. I instead did Single player custom campaign by starting at No Mercy, and it worked my way through until I beat the Sacrifice campaign.

I did Mutations > Change Mutations >Left 4 Marathon - L4D2 Campaign > Dead Center

@Dragons952 Are you choosing the correct mutations and the correct addon campaign? L4D1 mutation uses its own one while L4D2 uses the regular marathon one.

The mutations to play only L4D2 or 1 doesn't work. After I finish one of the campaigns; the end credits show up for that 1 campaign instead of it combining the 7 into one.

i was just trying to play this last night and it kept crashing saying no server login what can i do to fix this?

This would be better if the OG content was first and it played in sequential order. But nice challenge (mentally) to go through all the campaigns again back to back!

@jamesfox201146 There is a maximum limit how many chapters it can show in the chapter select, nothing can be done about that. To select L4D1 only maps you need to use the provided mutations.

when both parts are installed i go to play and therea 2 options one says left 4 marathon the other is l4d1 something that one i cant pick and the firts one only has dead center, the passing, dark carnival, and the first 2 levels of swamp fever and, and one level of no mercy...WTF anyone have suggestions to fix it

mods can make passing crash easily on restart, and the warning is nothing burger.

Some strange reason when it comes to the passing final when losing I crash. Never happened before. Also should I ignore the warning that i'm getting about conflicting mods for part 2?

L4D2 mutation doesnt need seperate mission for it, that is handled with scripts, as for the L4d1 only, its only selectable with the mutation active.

You need to use the mutations for them.

Después de 5 horas solo pude llegar hasta el inicio de the last stand, no estaba preparado para una sesión larga. Tendré que prepararme mejor para la próxima

I was pretty peeved when I typed that but essentially I ran a local server on the l4d2 only mutation and everything went fine up until we got to the DC finale, every time we left the elevator it would instantly play the escape music and infinitely spawn tanks and hordes while we filled up the gas. We ended up just skipping over the level but it was quite annoying, I don't think I have anything that should effect the finales so I'm pretty stumped if this is not a usual issue

And also.......... HARD RAIN is my favorite campaign! XD

Game is broken when doing the l4d2 only campaign, dead center starts spawning tanks and hordes like you're escaping when you still need to fill up the gas, broken and frustrating

Game breaks when transitioning from Cold Stream to No Mercy

Neat concept but needs more thorough testing, there's rendering issues all over the place, overall unstable campaign it's prone to crashing randomly. Me and a friend have tried completing this and every time it crashes, last time it was halfway through Last Stand, hopefully this gets fixed sometime in the future.We'll leave it on the shelf until then.

You mentioned we played one life mutation here. Idk if that's a mod, or of that's from the game itself.
