I think you are misunderstanding me. Im suggesting that you can turn off that specific item for yourself. For example, you turn off that item, and only you will not see that item/ particle effect.

If someone is wearing it in-game it means they like it and they have every right to use it, just because you don't like it doesn't mean they shouldn't be able to use it.

Well why should we have to be effected by it? Especially since some items add new particle effects and animations that can be incredibly confusing.

I think saying the "only" revenue steam is a bit much.
Keys , Couriers, Tickets and Announcers , not to mention pennants and HUD skins.

Or just get over it? There's tonnes of items in this game that I don't like that I see all the time and it doesnt affect me at all.

I don't think that adding an option to disable the only revenue stream of Dota 2 is a smart idea.

Even if we dont use it, we still have to see it though.
Hey, mabe you could petition for a mode that disables cosmetics, or where you can disable other people's cosmetic items. Then we wouldnt have to complain, we could just turn said offensive item off.

It is great work for you to have such talented skill to make this set in the first place. If you don't like it don't use it, pretty simple.

I am a super CM user, she is a girly doll character who is strong with her spell but weak with her HP; especially when compare to her "dearly" sis Lina, CM is just a little little elegant pretty support.

And with this set, it just totally and TOTALLY RUIN the look and character of her, I KNOW I KNOW THAT IS JUST FUR! but why put it under her nose.....I understand this is a joke, but this joke just makes CM looks so so bad and doesn't match her character in my opinion

I am not asking "please just make elegant pretty set for CM", that would just be boring, some new concept ideas are good. There is another set that makes CM looks like a 101 dalmatian character (Wintress Coat of Refinement), which to me it's a joke as well, but this joke works and match her character in a funny way. Not like this set instead, ruin the character instead. If someone gift me this set, I swear i would never use it, the auto CM set is even better than this...
