Which brings me to my next point. I've been thinking about working on a large grid starter rover. Something designed specifically to land, drive somewhere decent (but not _too_ far) and then be rebuilt into the base itself. Maybe even be able to "settle" down from the wheels and become a station.
Have you ever worked on something like that?
that is agreat mod you did there :) i sure it will enhance performance. The Gaius and garreth bothe have the dimensions to fit on a large grid ramp or hangar with a width of 3 blocks and 4 length. sadly that space limitation is a compromise. the problem with the armor is on my screen and hoply i can fix it in future rovers :)
