@villenera80 try holding the move a little longer, it's all about timing the release as soon as the move hits maximum charge, just like the source material's Action Commands. (Think the Paper Mario series, its attacks have the same basic concept.) I hope this helps! :resmile:

Zelda & Sheik are now separate characters in SSB4 & SSBU, so I'd recommend changing "Zelda and Sheik" in the description to "Pyra and Mythra", as you can use Down Special to switch between the two characters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, as you could with Zelda & Sheik in Melee/Brawl.

Okay, I know how to fight too now, so when you activated the door, upon landing on an ennemy do Down + A, Mario, Luigi or both doesn't matter ,it's just Down + A, once you did that, when you're going to land on ground you're going to teleport back up.
So just do it again and again, you can also air dodge while in the air with this.
The number of times you can do it is infinite until fail or damage.

here's a tip, in their config.ini, put plural = "1" so when they win, it says mario & luigi win, instead of mario & luigi wins

Here are my ideas:
A: Make it have another water effect from superstar saga, like the water ball or make it spray water a lot farther. This would make it useful for guarding the edge

B: Instead of the water attack, it would do the swing-bros move from superstar saga. It would attack forward and behind, and maybe do more damage than most other moves. If you want to go extra, Mario could even throw Luigi.

C: Make a simple spin attack, swinging his hammer, it would do less damage than his S-Strong, but it would attack in front and behind.

D: Firebrand attack: Mario would charge up fire brand, and then cause an explosion. The size would be based off of how long you charged and can even get bigger than Mario.

I feel like Mario needs a better down-strong attack. I like the reference, but it is bad in execution. It is too slow for how little damage it does. I can't think of a scenario where you wouldn't be better off using Side-Strong instead. It needs to either be faster, stronger, or changed. I have a couple of ideas that might work.

how did you do the horizontal sprite sheets for the characters? Because i can find the sprite sheets online on Spriters Resources but they are stacked and its hard to put all the sprites in a row.

can you replace sprites with dx sprites if possible??? it would be rlly cool to have newer sprites and that one move where luigi backflips that has superstarsaga sprites wouldnt look unnatural cause both dx games have same mario & luigi sprites

The funnest characters, no contest. The moves are hella fun to execute, the sprites are clean, the two-in-one character mechanic makes sense here since they are a team, the badge meter being their stamina meter making sure that you can't stick with one character, it's all a great package. And the best part, it's not a dumb meme, the bros are genuinly well made.

Well I love this character, but I ran across this bug for some time now. The bug is when you are about to get knocked out the screen right when mario and luigi switch you turn invisible your next stock. Hope you can fix

Definitely a great gimmick as far as characters go. I'm not sure if someone brought this up already, but after using Side Special once, the animation for forward smash stays as the side special animation. Any way to fix that? Either way, this is a great character.

The Side b is definitely supposed to limit your actions to only the spin move and maybe something else in the future lol. It breaks rather quickly though if unintended actions are somehow performed. That move as a whole is at the top of my list of things that need polish/fixing.

Yeah my C-Stick is strong attack and some how I mashed down B and another button and sometimes it does cool things. Did a few aerials I think too. Not sure if by design but this character seems like it'll be a lot of fun and practice if you add "bunk bed/double decker" combos

Huh lol I guess I didn't account for what would happen for people using a controller layout with a button/stick mapped to strong attacks. I'll add that to the bug list. Or maybe I'll make it a feature, who knows.

Also to add to cool things you should look into timed hits on fair fstrong ustrong and dair

I still think the timing for the Jumps and what not are too tight imo. Super creative though! I would've never thought of this!:steamhappy:
