Do these blueprints work at all if you don't own any DLC's? Or does it just have the default cockpit,etc if you don't own the DLCs

About the problem with the hotbar. I had a ticket with Keen about that and it turns out its a feature. only Groupe and function blocks get saved in a Blueprint when you build in survival. at least that was my observation. you can add the buttons using the Miner guide.
Helios about your Problem. make sure there is hydrogen in the Tanks and the tanks are set to STockpile off. if that doesn't work try turning it off and on again and make sure the Thrusters are on (Hotbar1 button 9) Hope that helps

On earth-like after printing the ship drops to the ground while empty. It acts as if dampeners are off when their on and the hydrogen thrusters won't work when on. They stay at idle no matter how hard i mash WASD. Only the upwards atmo thrusters work and they only bounce me around, they don't keep me in the air. Like I said previously, as if dampeners arn't on.

Hey, i had a problem today when welding it up in survival, the second hotbar, as well as the third and second were just the placeholder (the one that you usually get when grids disconnect) image. when pasing in creative all seems well.

any idea what may have caused this, so i can prevent it in the future?

Hello Ninjaknight78 thank you for your comment. about the issue. make sure the Thrusters are turned on and the hydrogen tanks are set to auto the ship should be able to hold its elevation in atmosphere using only its atmo thrusters. hoep that helps or can elaborate on the issue.

so i been having an issue with this craft as of late for some reason the hydro engine and thrusters will act like they are being fed by the o2/h2 gen wile coming back in to atmo then if you couldnt guess it crashes to the planet at a really fast pace.

Hello RogueWave thank you for your comment. glad you like the idris. about your questions. the large hydrogen thrusters pointing down are mainly suposed to be used in space or on moons. i would recomend turning them off when your on a planet to save hydrogen for manuvering.
about the oxygen i would recomend taking ice on board of the ship and adding it to the H2/O2 Generators. the should produce enough air for you. make sur to tur the off other wise the will produce hydrogen and be gone when you need air. lastly make sure to turn off the front facing hydrogen thrusters. when you dont want to break or keep pushing the W key wich will consume Hydrogen quickly. Hey DerMakrat, I'm very new to this game. I just built this ship and it's gorgeous. Awesome use of space too. I have a couple questions.

I noticed that the ship has no small hydrogen thrusters in the "up" direction. Are the Large Hydrogen thrusters supposed to be used for the "up" direction in space?

Why no oxygen tank? Just because of space considerations? I was thinking about replacing the hydrogen motor with an oxy tank. Do you think that's a bad idea?

(I ended up having to add a few atmo thrusters cause i am not good at helicopter flying with thrusters when I run out of hydrogen)

Hello DuffyKnight, the How to build is not part of the Guide right now. but i can give you some tips. Build a Large Rotor to your base grid. remove the Large rotor head. Use the Control Panel and Add a SMal grid Rotor head to the rotor. Add a Projector to the rotor head. slect the Blueprint you want to built on the Projector. Make sure the Ships is orientated to the ground and the block has a connection to the Projector. weld it block by block ore use a Welder Block.

Im new to this. I subscribed, and am trying to use the blueprint. Is this only available in creative mode? I thought, maybe this would show me how to build this step by step. It just keeps taking me to this link. Need help please!

the reactor has a extrenal opening in the back. mostly its for starting the craft if there is no powert left in the batteries and the converyors are not working. You can use it lengthen the fly time of the atmospheric thrusters but the ship is desinged to run using only the batteries. fly time in atmosphere is 30 min full 50 min empty make sure to fill up the tanks and pack ice in the h2/o2 generators for space to planet / Planet to space missions. there is a coplete guide onn the bigger sister ship that is mostly compatile with this one. https://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2023397443

Hello bEgAyDoCrImE Thank you for your comment. The Idris is specialy designed to go from a Planets Surface to Space and back with a Full Load. Make sure your Hydrogen Tanks and Batteries are full and you have Ice in your H2/O2 generators. To get into Space as efficently as Possible here is a tipp. To save Fuel use the Cruise Mode when Flying in forward so you dont have to Accelerate constantly Press 3 to activat waring no Breaks in Cruise mode. As you leave the gravitaional Pull you will need less Thrust. use the Manual Thrust adjuster on Hotbar 3 by pressing 1 and 2. Dont use more thrust then neccesari to Stay at 100 ms. Have fun.

Would this be able to land on earth like with a full load? Wanting to go to space and find some uranium. :P

Hello Xeridanus thank you for your comment and question. The Idris is Using one Transperent LCD for the Shiplayout script. The Screenshots show the old version wit Textpanels.

Could you mention which blocks of the Decorative Pack #2 you used in this blueprint? This way, people can know if it's worth getting the pack for your blueprint. I had a quick look and the only thing I could think of was the transparent LCD screens. But I can't see any of those in the screenshots.
