Hmm
arcticbutterfly 11. apr. 2020 kl. 23:56
Skittles, back to your comment about the building blocks, probably 1000 random platform, a chest or two, bed or two, a door, 1000 of a light source (maybe a ship light or something like that), and a table of some sort. It would be helpful if you're using colony deeds or building a tiny base just for yourself. Everyone has different tastes in building so i cant really say what kinds of blocks would be the best or most used, but here's my suggestion.

Good idea about the discussion pagehttps://steamproxy.com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/1790281181/1735510333041126856/

Hmmm I might need to think of an alternative delivery system with so many blocks. Hum hum hum

Proposel: open a mod discussion on the topic.
Carbon the Wanderer 27. jan. 2020 kl. 2:04
There's a vine block that's disabled -- could be useful for Floran builds.
Carbon the Wanderer 27. jan. 2020 kl. 1:58
One last _good_ block to consider from vanilla would be obsidian, if they're bravo six and going dark.
Carbon the Wanderer 27. jan. 2020 kl. 1:57
When I really have nothing at hand, the object I'll cheat in is Light Metal. It's a texture that doesn't clash with much unless your specific theme does not benefit from having lab tiles in the background. Also, builders everywhere would benefit from having Scrap Panels, Rusty Panels, and Hull Panels at their disposal. It sucks having to *find* those every time we run out.
DrPvtSkittles  [ophavsmand] 27. jan. 2020 kl. 1:44
Well the greenscreen blocks aren't really for "building" more for slapping down a plain colour to chroma key.

I think a lazy builder bag would be kinda neat. I don't build myself, but what would you say are the most commonly used building blocks?
Carbon the Wanderer 26. jan. 2020 kl. 23:49
DrPvtSkittles - love your stuff, for the record. I tried making a race using your template and I was really close before I lost inspiration. Oof. - but I like to build. And I know what the greenscreen blocks do and why they're useful, but I don't like building with them. Perhaps a Lazy Light Metal Block bag?

endermako64 6. jan. 2020 kl. 22:19
@DrPvtSkittles i have a recommendation for this mod it's a lazt essence bag like the money bag but it's ancient essence
DrPvtSkittles  [ophavsmand] 10. juli 2019 kl. 20:47
This mod doesn't make coding easier. It makes testing mods easier.
LunaLizzy23 10. juli 2019 kl. 13:34
@DrPvtSkittles if you're not actually coding, why do you make a mod that makes coding easier? (othre than helping others ;) )

@Lightning Wolf I never looked into that kind of topic too deep, so I simply didn't know. I don't know much about coding, only that programmers complain what a pain it is to do all that work and that you have to do a lot of fixing, adding stuff and removing it later ... I'm def not up to date there; it just seemed somewhat simple, as a concept ... not that computery stuff is simple, it just looks like it were. If that made sense in some way ... ;)
Lightning Wolf 9. juli 2019 kl. 23:36
@paperman7 there is a huge difference between a simple mod like this, and a complete UI overhaul like you suggested. it took entire teams to make NEI/TMI/JEI and its other clones each. I know just enough items is kept up to date by a team of 10 core people on github, with 72 contributors bug testing it and fixing code.
DrPvtSkittles  [ophavsmand] 9. juli 2019 kl. 21:00
Slightly tweaking an existing item isn't coding :P

"Also, why do you develop something that helps modders get rid of boring testing (partly), if you didn't have to do it yourself and probably aren't bothered by it? Ò.ó"

I am not sure what you are asking
LunaLizzy23 9. juli 2019 kl. 13:30
How did you make this mod then? ;)
Also, why do you develop something that helps modders get rid of boring testing (partly), if you didn't have to do it yourself and probably aren't bothered by it? Ò.ó
DrPvtSkittles  [ophavsmand] 9. juli 2019 kl. 7:56
Good idea, one I don't believe I can do because I can't code lol
LunaLizzy23 9. juli 2019 kl. 7:54
How about an interface like in Minecraft's Too Many Items mod? Like a sidebar or an entirely new window, accessible like crafting or the inventory, with a specific key. And it would probably be possible to add custom items (if supported by mods) and the items won't run out - could be done by "crafting" and setting the ingredients to nothing and the needed time to 0, resulting in obtaining the products instantaneously. ^^
Does that help? I don't know too much about programming ...
DrPvtSkittles  [ophavsmand] 8. juli 2019 kl. 20:37
Weeell if you have admin on you can craft without cost. I don't wanna add tooo many bags otherwise I'ma need a bag for my bags lol
HOODSTAIN 8. juli 2019 kl. 19:56
I would suggest add a bag for one of each crafting supply like bars and stuff like the schorched cores and what not, but at that point these wouldnt be called lazy bags anymore
DrPvtSkittles  [ophavsmand] 7. juli 2019 kl. 7:40
I'll make a note
moonmallow 7. juli 2019 kl. 7:37
Should add an Ancient Essence bag too since you have one for money.
Naii Starwing 4. juli 2019 kl. 15:34
Oh! Got it! retro was talking about the Campfire in picture 2. Nah, fam. That's vanilla.
Naii Starwing 4. juli 2019 kl. 15:33
What do burning sticks have to do with anything? The mod doesn't even add sticks!
Trinity 4. juli 2019 kl. 8:22
