I think you'll like it. The release is still quite far away, considering it's a full rebuild, but expect enhanced compatibility (no more overwriting vanilla files), the return of super-traits and much more.
Of course, some of the weaker material from older versions will be cut or redone (I especially disliked vague attributes such as "inspired") which is always controversial, but we're definitely looking at more traits and better story/gameplay integration.

I look forward to an updated version of Xenology. It used to be one of my favourite mods.

I haven't tested it extensively, but it looks like it's working as intended in 2.6. Please notify me of any glitch you may find.

As for Xenology, I have once again started work on a new version, but given my track record with release dates, I'll take a lesson from the KR devs and leave it at "soon + 2 weeks"

I've set Xenology to hidden for the time being, since it's woefully outdated. I intend to rework it again some time in the future.

As for Insults and Injuries, I'll have to see how insults have been reworked as of Foundations first.

The mod is a treasure! Especially the freakin' hilarious Disclaimer at the end. That was icing on the cake!

Is there a mechanic for ignoring insults, too? After one or two I don't even bother with them, so a RETURN TO SENDER: INSULT HAS BEEN IGNORED would be the ultimate in returns by doing nothing. Just knowing that its been returned as ignored should keep the sender steaming.

My only wish is that this may one day be achievement compatible

I know "courtyard insults" can be funny because of the contrast, but I don't intend to add them. More Insults might have what you're looking for, though. But I might draw some inspiration from the suggestions, thanks!
