Also, there appears to be some problems with Steam cloud quota.
Even after deleting some content, it still tries saying people don't have enough space.
Steam would probably have to fix something somewhere to let people upload more.
There are multiple concerns some people in this community aren't aware of.
Not even Crowbar is able to get around some of the limitations.
Crowbar gets around the file size upload limit in the authoring tools workshop manager.
If there's truly a cloud quota limit to be exhausted, we can't get around it.

That's not how it works, you need to ask first.
Not getting a reply does not grant you permission.
We've had this discussion before, at least about my own content or my friends.
Please stop taking content which does not belong to you.
Eventually you'd get enough reports from authors still active and risk getting banned.
Having multiple accounts won't help you either as you can still be traced and tracked.

It was fun, and a good idea, but every time I've played I had a problem with the crash course finale. Either the truck didn't open, no gascans spawned, the bots ran off to nowhere when the truck open, or the game just straight crashed. It sucks having to throw away an hour of work, because one faulty level.

Bot navmesh is ♥♥♥♥♥♥. As other person below me said, bots refuse to get on the helicopter on rooftop finale of No mercy.

I thought this was a homemade campaign, and later I found that it was just an --[mixed official map]-- without any main weapons. I feel disappointed.:noire:

Very interesting concept. I love how on No Mercy it can have the weather storms from Hard Rain, something I wish was in the base game on it. I'd love if someone would make all the L4D1 maps but as custom maps including the rain + storms from Hard Rain. Storms are almost never used even in custom campaigns and it kinda bugs me as I think it's an awesome feature especially in realism where you can't see teammates names and glows.

A mixture made with older campains, lightly modyfied + 1 extra map. I like the idea but after playing it ( 3 hours to finish in Normal Mode) I feel disappointed. No new ideas, just blocked roads and doors (randomized) . the Finals and Hordespawn changed.Ok to have it in the collection, no "must-have" 3 Stars, for the entire work.

Having an issue with loading in multiplayer where my loading bar goes from quarter filled to completely empty and wont load in.

13 maps... that's a bit of a turn off. Unless they're all pretty short and easy to navigate, this campaign will take way too long to complete...

I got to the Church section in Death Toll but I couldn't get through the safe room. There was an invisible barrier that stopped me from accessing it and after running up against it 30+ times, blowing it up, setting it on fire and shooting at it, I committed suicide and tried again. This proved even less successful as now I can't even make it out of the trainyard at the start of the level, that stairway, up to the offices/stoage depots also has an invisible wall now... >.>

Great idea, great up until that point but sadly a stupid glitch completely destroyed the experience for me. v.v

i'm slow so don't laugh- but in the first level- which is taken from No Mercy- i come down out of the first apartment building, go into the alley to the street, there is a fence. In No Mercy you pass that fence and go to the subway. I can't figure out how to get past the fence. Thanks.

Challenging, infuriating, awesome and fun. Loved it, up and down - the random events, having to find new paths, and limited weapon/item spawns. Made you really have to rely on your teammates on the harder difficulties. Was a great way to spend 3 hours bumming with a couple friends. :>

Only "glitch" we encountered was that the first map of the No Mercy campaign would occasionally have a fence across the road blocked off, as well as the store barricaded, with no way around.

Same here, but only Part 1 is missing in L4D2 add-ons. The 173546700.vpk exists in my Workshop-Folder. Unsubscribe and re-subscribe didn't work.

Fairfield Fallen 1 of 13 no longer shows up in my add-on's, I unsubed then re-subscribed and it still is not in the add-ons and when trying to start a game, it does not show as a choice. Any sug??

Go to the collection link above for a proper description.
Most Workshop campaign authors put their descriptions on the collection.
Collections are normally where you go to subscribe to multiple parts at once.

we can only do so much navigation wise before hitting the A.I. limit of bots.
not even Valve's own programming is a perfected science!

however, they rescue most of us just fine in our very own random play-throughs.
so you must've had the already known situations in the sewers, perhaps...

Surv bots are so unreliable that they're not particularly enjoyable even on vanilla maps, they're included as a fallback and little more.

this is a cool campaign with the dynamic changes and the combination of all the l4d maps but the main flaw is playing this in single player with bots. The bots will not go to rescue you. they will not go on the elevator with you. So far I got to the semi finale of no mercym ONLY ONCE could I actually get them to the elevator. I had to both push the bots and go back far enough so the bots could teleport and I had to take another route just to get to the elevator and progress. And guess who is waiting at the top? A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tank. their is too many tanks in this campaign and they easily incap everyone! I don't think I really had a good experience with this campaign.

When I came into the page, my eye is trained to go right to the description, just like skipping past ads. The first thing I truly saw was "Map 1 of 13".

Labelling it as "Fairfield Fallen (DL All Maps)" is a simple solution. Thanks to ads and poor design (on the web in general) we've all developed some bad habits. Automatically skipping content without realizing it is one of them.

Just tryin to help.
