No reload sound included because it shares the same sound files as the UZI. It’ll conflict with other mods that replaced the UZI (regular SMG) that also contains custom reload sounds.

I know this may be a big thing to ask and probably won't see this but,

is there any way to make this mod again, but use l4d1 beta animations from Rocky? I have this character model for both zoey and rochelle and the guy who created it did poorly, the character view model tears and blocks the view on the left side, completely blinded. Not your fault, just asking as an request, would like to you this mod. Keep up the good work :D

I now use the Suppressed SMG throughout the whole campaign because of this mod.

Yea ik, that SFM version of Leon Kennedy is a direct port from the Gmod version, which I'm a contributing modder in.

I have very mixed feelings about the whole L4D2 anime flood thing. Both sides are extremely toxic and it feels like there is no gray area in all this crap.

I simply don't like anime groups because they are taking over the workshop. I can't search for a weapon or a mod without seeing at least 5 anime pics and 3 of MLP. Like wth! I'm even seeing furries man! And if MisterMetokur taught me something, is that furries, Bronies, Weebs (...) they all have sick and perverted minds. (well, dispite my hate towards said groups, i do not see Weebs like i see the other 2 examples... like really, you can't compare those 2 to Weebs, they are WAAAAY worse).

Do they really need to take out the competition because of that? A stupid thing? Infuriating stuff mate...

I am really pissed off now, like seeing your side of the story, only give more reason to how i should handle those kinds of people. Teach those people some moderation in their lives!

Also, don't go on an unnecessary hate war on those anime authors. There's no point to spewing false accusations when there's no evidence to backup who's behind this botting phenomenon. But from what I had observed in the past month, the person behind those bots may not only upvoting their own cheaply made anime re-skins and loading screen addons to the front page, but also other people's anime addons as well to cover up their identity.

It may be ironic that I'm saying this since I, myself also port anime related content for Gmod. But I still condemn the use of bots as an asset for stomping over other people's hard work put into making their mods. And it also saddens me that a few modders are leaving the L4D2 workshop just because of the downvote bots.

So I do, really appreciate that people are still supporting my work regardless of what content I decided to make.

No, it's not 2000 bots. In the case of this addon, I'll say it's about 27-ish bots that downvote bombed the addon, given that legit downvotes by legit people are also taken into consideration. The fact that this addon got over 3000 views is because it got featured on the front page for less than a day before getting dislike bombed to oblivion.

And also no, you don't get any monetary benefit from getting your addons featured on the front page, especially on the L4D2 workshop. This is what honestly baffles my mind, since I'm pretty sure you'll have to pay some sort of service to get bots to target and severely downvote bomb an addon.

It is sad unfortunately. Usually an addon will get a 4 star rating at 26 rates, and a 5 star rating at 160 rates, given they are all positive with no negative ratings.

I doubt Valve will implement any changes to the L4D2 workshop, since nowadays they're mainly focusing on updating games with micro-transactions. CSGO just had it's workshop updated in an attempt to prevent scammers from promoting gambling websites via workshop addons, which are also being botted to the front page.

I guess all we can do now is to not even look at the rates since the rating system in L4D2's workshop is being abused to oblivion. The comment section, the number of favourites and subscribers is a more honest and better way to determine whether the addon is deemed good and high quality.

It’s not the anime mods being the problem. It’s the use of mass downvote bots that are preventing my L4D2 addons getting a 5 star rating. Hence, the higher the ratio of downvotes, the less likely the chance of getting a 5 star. Which is essentially the case since all of my L4D2 addons since December 2018 has been downvote bombed to 20% negative rating.

Also FYI, the Cheeseburger mod I made awhile back before this whole bottling phenomenon achieved a 5 star rating at just 160-ish rates with only 1 downvote.

Yeah, i just checked in-game and Scooty's right. Though I doubt I'll be able to fix it since I'm not much of an animator.

I think I also found the bug mentioned by Scooty about the reload while walking, the hands were like floating and didn't grip the weapon properly especially the right hand

i don't know if you are planning to port more of these lovely re2 guns but if you are i'd kill for port of the fully upgraded matilda (the vp70m) to replace the scar, i'd understand if it's too much troulbe though due to their probably not being that many animations that would suit it that well

As for the smg it's awesome! the animations are perfect and i love the strap
