A great mission, but there is a "but": explain the inability to run to the helicopter and the need to go to it! One big question - why you did it? Try to enjoy the 20 attempt - walking to the helicopter again and again ... I think I realized what kind of "Ground Attack" - it was meant to attack the Earth with steps.

The MRAPs are far too accurate

It's taken me years but I finally beat this mission today! It only took getting a proper flight stick to be able to fly efficiently enough to beat the AI without taking any hits. What a great mission for something so small

10 years later this is still fun, had to redo it a couple times since the MRAP shot me down and there was no repair/rearm

Great mission! Helped me refine my skills a lot. Worth the time put in for sure.

It "feels" good, but I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks it's very hard... the helo can't take more than a single .22 and you're dead...

Found the way to do it. Line up missiles from behind them and make sure to get the guy that shoots. Then jump ahead of the convoy and camp a corner with miniguns. This is the only way to accurately hit them and not lose control of the chopper, as well as minimizing the chance of a single bullet going through spacetime to kill you or shredding every vital part of the chopper.

Also don't crash at the end.

ok i get that the convoy has big guns. But how does one stupid bullet go through the engine, the tail, the fuel tank, and my head? Wtf did you do to that chopper?

Very challenging and enjoyable. Die a lot on first try. After learning some tactics, I beat this after one death. Just try attacking by diving from high altitude and get away fast.

Trash, you get lasered the moment you pop over any cover or concealment.

This was awesome! The enemy AI is very accurate and you have to think about where you want to engage from. I played this with the helicopter turbulence mod and it was a lot of fun!

It's frustrating and hard but it is beatable. Mission is too simple( never easy) other than trucks deviating off road. Infinite loop of SAVE and LOAD.
Basically classical hit and run to avoid getting shot.
But why did you disable getting out of the helicopter? I tried kill all the infantries in the valley with the vulcan.

The convoy you are supposed to ambush changes route rapidly and goes offroad ( trying to escape ) once the first truck in the line gets compromised by explosive charges. Which means that the squad is unable to follow the convoy offroad as it is trying to escape throughout the whole map. Mod is basically unfinished and needs more attention - 1 star till you fix it.

Not sure did said that before, but this is best mission ever created in ArmA 3. Period. I've played it few years ago, played it now - it's awesome.

I can't even get close without being obliterated by multiple .50 cals. Anyone know how to fly a pawnee and not get destroyed? I tried looking at both of the videos posted in the comments but they are both blocked because of the music (which is obnoxious btw, couldn't even hear when I lost engine power so I slammed into the ground one extra time)

it would be a lot easier with missiles, rockets arent that good against the escort.

One of the coolest intro's to any scenarios with perhaps a little foreshadowing. If you like a challenge I recommend this mission

Is it a challenge? Most definitely. Is it suicide? Probably, if you don't know what you are doing. Is it even possible to beat? Totally... just gotta have some skill and good timing. Will you rage? Absolutely.

If you are thinking about this mission, dont sub to it, horribly made.

to sum it up you are pressed for time in a tin can pawnee and you need to kill 2 ifrits and multiple trucks, forget killing it with your main gun it wont dent it, hope to god you have the accuracy of wire guided missiles with your dagr's because it feels like you need 5 to kill the ifrit, forget a surprise approach because they can see you through many layers of tree cover when a single round can kill you and disable your chopper.

but it's all about flying low and approach the convoy from behind, fire all the rockets and
pray you don't get shot down by one single 50cal round.

Coudn't find the convoy at thee strat of the mission.

It's cause the convoy is already half way when the mission starts and that gives very little time to acquire and take them out with unguided rockets and a minigun with every vehicle equipped with 50Cal's shotting the bejeezes out of you from 2clicks away. Don't mean to rant, but the heli is ♥♥♥♥ when it comes to taking damage. Atleast delay the convoy or give the option to choose which helo the player wants to take this mission in. Take this as you want, constructive feedback or another rant. Fact's don't care.

@Neko: You maybe an elite spec-ops tier 1 pilot Neko and can probably fly circles around me. Not everyone is as special as you.

I'm not why other people are finding this mission so hard, it works fine for me.

infantry with ar scoring headshots at 1km, missiles are inacurate, and one shot is enough to destroy your engines, the AI can shoot through smoke cloud and stay accurate. I mannaged to succeed once and quit. The ai in this game is broken and this mission is poorly made

I get shot dead in the cockpit within few seconds when the enemy opens fire. Seems impossible to inflict any damage to the convoy.

Even with the AI accuracy and skill level set to 0, there is no way to complete this mission, as the armoured GMG trucks fire into the cockpit with the accuracy of a sniper, killing the pilot immediately. If anyone knows how to get the ai not to fire with extreme accuracy into the cockpit, like in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UpjmOEqICjY and in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=URtdoOg042E plox tell me.
