Can you make a "model" of it that's put together for posing? Or is there some way to put together for posing scenes that isn't so time consuming?

You should use the LFS base labelled indev, by another user. Luna has discontinued LFS.

I chose a different model because I couldn't find the GMA in the files, but thanks for the warning. Now no other animators are going to end up in severe pain.
