It is still fun to watch the gas tankers arrive (from off-map) to fill the station(s) up. Works fine for that, and you don't need any sort of oil industry to have that happen.

What we aren't seeing since the Hotels&Retreats patch is cars stopping at the gas stations and using that gas up so that more trucks then turn up with a fresh supply. I used to love watching this happen.

So yes, it works partially and does no harm to your game or your city's economy, but you don't see everything it was designed to do.

I would really love to see somebody fix this one so that we can have the fun of watching real gas stations at work in our cities.

I tested it a bit, and for me, the mod seems to be working. Petrol delivered. I did not see vehicles using petrol. Hmmm.

After Hotels&Retreats patch the base game is not allowing Real Gas function, since it is overriding Customize It! Extended setup. The issue is not harmful, but this mod needs an update.

You can also test it: type 5086 as construction cost in the asset details (with Customize It Extended mod) and it becomes a petrol station, but it is not going to act as a petrol station.

The screen keeps telling me I gave this a thumbs down. I actually gave it a thumbs up. (I don't ever give thumbs down!) Even time I try to correct the error by giving it a thumbs up, the next time it shows up as a thumbs down! Just so you know, pcfantasy, in case you think I gave it a thumbs down - I didn't.

Does it require zoned oil or petroleum from industries dlc? The demo video in the discussions tab says one And mod description says another

I think my problem may have been specific to something going on at the time as it seems to be working for me again now.

Petrol getting delivered. Petrol getting used. A happy world with no climate change to ruin our enjoyment of the roads.

Can someone help me? The mod doesnt work, like for ex: i type 5086 using customize it extended on a park, but it doesn't pop up the gas station icon. Also I cannot search up custom gas station assets in Find It! and RICO search for some reason.

"Industrial_Fuel_Depot & Warehouse by TempleOfDoom" works. Well, it receives petrol by tanker. Haven't actually watched it long enough to see trucks use it. I specified large vehicles when I set it up using the orange fuel pump button that the gas stations get when they are set up with 5086 cost, so hopefully it will service trucks only.

I may try other buildings to see what happens too. Are fuel pumps actually necessary on a lot for it to be set up as a working gas station, or are the parking spots near the pumps what actually makes the mod work? Whatever it is its brilliant.

Works OK for me. I'm having great fun trying to find out which gas stations work and which don't. Not all of the ones that say they are a park work. I've even had a few unique building ones not working, but I've still got a choice of 15 or more that do work.

Is there a limit to the number of gas stations I can have in the city at any one time? I do like the idea of having different companies "competing" for traffic in the city. Variety is nice.

Real Gas Station mod seems to be working fine since I have petroleum from the specialized oil industry.

I have all the required subscriptions and the mod is enabled. I am just about to build some of the listed petrol stations, type 5086 as construction cost in the asset details (with Customize It Extended mod) and start to fill the with Petroleum and see how cims starting to use them.

I will come back with the result.

Check my modlist, but I do not see any incompatible mods with Real Gas Station.

When I unsubscribe from Real Gas Station mod, the starting error message is gone.

@pcfantasy - I did, but the car count is 2 or 4 or 8, but not more. Is there any way to know if a car is filling gas? does it just park near the gas station, does it just go thorugh? does it stop for a second and then continue? can you add a video on how it works and how to setup?

Hey, I started using this mod but almost no cars come to fuel.. I also did realstic roads that go near the pumps but cars don't come to fuel, some park to visit the monument (gas station) but nothing besides that. it will be really cool if this mod can be taken to the next level were cars actually stop, people come out stan near the pump then get back in and drive away.. maybe even a fuel gagae for every car (random created nad not saved between saves).

I have a problem, I put the gas pump, set $ 5086, I accept all the vehicles ... the petrol is brought but the vehicles don't go to make petrol.

With the latest update, my canopies that had been set to "Accept heavy vehicle" were changed to "Accept all vehicles" and my previous "Accept small vehicles" gas stations were changed to "accept heavy vehicles", so you'll need to update your settings to conform with the new functionality/interface.

What ploppables do you mean, Nud? With the latest update, the Real Gas Station UI should show up on most building types, from service building to parks and monuments (Warehouses and Unique Factories excluded, atm). That should include most gas station assets on the workshop.

pcfantasy couldn't add RICO integration for Real Construction so I'm guessing there's a similiar limitation for this mod too.
