In my current load a lot of the rocket abilities are only working for the gauntlet and not the launcher, I believe it may be because of ability to slot reassignment mod, but unsure

Not entirely sure what is the purpose behind smoke feature of the concussion rocket. They often make it difficult for XCOM agents to hit their target.

If the Bunkerbuster rocket is top-down attack rocket I think it would be much more useful. Currently it is difficult to discern what is the difference between bunkerbuster and regular explosive rockets.

How doable would it be to just have the rocketeer class enabled? Is it possible through configs or would that require its own standalone mod?

Guys, do i really need to install LW2 secondary weapons for this mod to work, or my lwotc can just replace it?

(LWOTC-requiring mods also usually have [LW2] or [LWOTC] in the title instead of just [WOTC])

It doesn't, the LW2 Secondary Weapons mod (and other LW2 backports like the perks/classes mods) were made specifically to port some cool LW2 content back to the base game.

If something actually needs Long War itself, you'll see a requirement for either "Long War 2" (non-WOTC, e.g. REALLY old) or "Long War of the Chosen".

ah ok, that makes sense. I haven't played XCOM 2 in a long while so I was probably used to the old version. Well anyway it works now so thanks for the mod :steamthumbsup:

@Mr.Person its been a requirement for probably over a year. The original version of the mod used its own little wrist rocket item. However after Iridar made his rocket launcher mod I made the LW2 secondaries a requirement since many of the perks from that mod boost the power of iridar's rocket launcher.

Ah that was it, its working now. Was that always a requirement? I don't remember needing it before, unless it got lost in one of my mod purges

@Mr.Person do you have the Lw2 secondary weapons mod installed? That is where the gauntlet is from. If you do have it installed I'd direct any questions about missing items to that mod's author as I do not mess with items directly with this mod.

@mikesh1958 I honestly have no clue what you are talking about man my mod does not include bullet proof vests, nor should it mess with any vest mods. Sounds like one of your other mods in your mod list is the actual problem.

@XpanD Quickburn perk was made by the LW2 Secondary weapons mod. I could mess with the localization files to maybe fix that, but I did not make that perk nor the localization for it. As for Dragon Spear shot that I can fix (As I made that perk and its localization). As for flame thorn defense I guess I could nerf its damage a bit. Its just +2 hit points, and zapping/burning foes.

Haven't tested it, but guessing the same applies for Dragon Spear Shot -- iNumTurns is 6, localization says 4. (sorry for the spam, finding these as I go)

Doing some more poking around... Flame Thorn Defense seems REALLY strong for when you get it? Think it'd be pretty worth getting even without the zapping, honestly! Also, Quick Fix says it's on a 6 turn cooldown but is set as 3 in-code.

Noticed something else while getting the Burner specialization ready: Walk It Off doesn't seem to be working, my characters just bleed out/die immediately. Everything else on the Burner side seems to be fine, just that one that's being weird.

Now, after putting on bulletproof vests and going into battle, they have no ablative armor given by bulletproof vests

Got it. Do you have any plans to change/remove other abilities? Might do a separate Burner spec as well (some really cool stuff there going by the localization!), but will hold off for a bit if that's still in the works.

@XpanD Yes, you are correct. I recently noticed this as well, I've been working on a new replacement ability. I tried to give the ability crit damage and it did not work. I based the punisher perk of something richard did with his classes and assumed it worked however after doing a bunch of testing recently it does not work.

Doing some testing as I'm updating my Rocketeer Amalgamation specialization to match the new changes, and from what I can see Punisher does not actually increase damage when it crits. Normal Gun Bash attack (with Strong Arm) is 4-6 damage, but I get the same exact range even when I do land crits.

Is there a crit damage value missing, or am I missing something?

I will update the description of the ability to explain it better, as for the burner, its a LW2 launcher so it wont be able to use iridar's rockets. Rounds like ammo wont effect it either. Their might be a mod to change that.

@dallasbeek Sadly I wont be making this compatible with LWOTC, I don't to play with LWOTC. However if someone else wants to do that go ahead as long as I am credited. Same thing for all my classes.

+1 request for LWotC compatibility.

Also, did some cursory research into at least part of the reason for incompatibility, the dependency LW2 Secondary Weapons for WotC assumes you do not have LWotC loaded, and is actually included in LWotC.

@vaultwulf Fire in the hole for some reason is always blank for me. Not only with this mod, but with others that use it too.

It still works if I select it, so I just ignore it.

I don't know why but LWOTC won't launch when i have this mod enabled. It USED to... but now it doesn't.... even after disabling a number of rockets.... Heatflash rockets don't seem to EXIST for me to remove...

I dont know if this is just a new update or something but the skill tree for my rocketeers looks completely different from the one in the screenshot. 5 skills in anti armour, 4 in trooper and 2 in firebug. A lot of the skills shown in the screenshot are therefore not even available.
