Hey, it could work.

Love to see something like this on a map like Altis, but as a sandbox survival, start off at a crash site with a weapon and very little ammo, you have to explore, gather weapons etc, while avoiding other npc groups and aliens that have taken over the towns etc, something like ravage or one of the zombie sandbox survivor mods.

Hey phantom love your missions question for you. I have my own modified AIS wound system that playable units will never die only stay unconscious the mission ends when all playable units are unconscious. My issues with the alien mods predator Terminator zombies mod's they will keep attacking even if they are down and will kiik my units. How did you prevent this with your mission and the ability to use revive scripts. Thanks Avibird

First off the Alien and Predator movies are probably my favorite series of all time and you represented them greatly within Arma. Never a dull moment playing the escalation mission and let's not forget the time you took to put small details in, I can't even imagine how long that whole mission took. Im waiting to play the next one once all the boys get on so we can shit bricks together again.

Is there a file or something for the mission so I can run it on a server?

Ok, it seems the Area 51 map was deleted by the developer, which was causing players not able to play. I have no idea why the developer would do that, but it is what it is.

However, it's not game over yet ;-)

I have found a new link to the missing map and have added it to the mods list, check the list, install the map, and the mission should work just fine. I was able to test the SP for both Alien missions just now and everything seems to be working just fine.

@DarthRaven117 I cant find the mod in the launcher at all, tried launching with the 4 required and found it in scenarios, however doesn't load at all when I hit play scenario. Also need help.

@ezek make sure thr right mods are loaded in your launcher then once in the main arma menu choose singleplayer , then scenarios , you will find it there

For some reason the Area 51 map blocks me from joining servers. It's really strange, do you guys have any idea what's causing it?

This is actually a fantastic mod, really love the tension added into it, my only complaint is that you should probably add saves inbetween objectives, I forgot to save and had to go all the way back to the beginning. Besides that this mod is great!!!

got a problem, apparently a vehicle warehouse no longer exists which isn't allowing me to load into the mission, not sure if this is a common problem but i cant seem to see anything mentioning it, the Exact Error message is "steam/_cur_sp.groomlake/mission.sqm/Mission/Entities/Item2.type : Vehicle class OPTRE_RS_Warehouse No longer exists"

encountered a bug, the 2 facehuggers in the tower at the beginning which are meant to be dead are not, they glitch out, stay afloat and if i get near they latch on me.

Is there a way to make this more than 4 players?

Check the addon list update, make sure to install USCM mod by Maxjoiner. Feels like a brand new mission now, definitely worth another revisit.

Trying to get this to run on the server. I assume I just need to set it to server side for the Area 51 map? Because that mod has no bikey.

Assuming Cold Iron's Alien MMOFPS doesn't put the final nail in the coffin lol.

Next year, lets revisit the alien universe again ;-)
