The solution to fix the exploit is to use a fizzler near the stairs of the entrance of the chamber to block portal placements from above the light bridge.

The portal surface under the double-pane observation room, never needed it.

Wildgoosespeeder and I found a little (literal) gap in the puzzle design and never needed to use a portalable surface. An easy fix for that would be to lower the large pane of glass a bit.
