I figured as much. I don't normally use Crafting Enhanced Core because of the workshop mod and now you Junk Metal mod but, if i wanted to use Yak's Makeshift Clothing mod i would have to use said Crafting Enhanced Core.

It seems Empty Beer Cans aren't scrap-able like pop cans and food cans.

In case of adding compatibility with other mods addon like 'Durable Scrap Spear' can be made.
You will need to create addon for JunkMetal that is compatible with 'zRe Better Lockpicking', 'Guns of 93' or any other mod.
I will not make any compatibility with other mods due to lack of time but you can. Use 'Durable Scrap Spear' as an example.

also could be done a patch for ammo for guns of 93?

I can add it to the mod, but the next planned update for the mod is when Metalwork Overhaul goes live.

@Bourne I'm pretty sure you're able to craft metal pipes as shown in the mod's pictures by finding the recipe. Still, this mod is more intended to do weapon and bullet crafting, so I would recommend you this mod for that:

Can anyone help me to explain how to melt scrap ingots? I did put scrap metal into campfire, added fuel for more than 24h, lighted it, and it did not melt

It was a mystery that I couldn't use most of the recipes even though I had the Cairn and the ingredients, but it was because the welding mask was registered as a favorite.

The stone pile is the "Cairn" its in Carpentry-misq-Cairn

To create a stone pile, right click on the screen, go to Carpentry, then misc, the select cairn and place it. You need to forage for six regular, not chipped stones first. Best places to find stones are roads and urban areas.

To create ingots, build a campfire, toss on a log, add all the scrap metal uncooked, it will heat up just like food in the stove. Don't remove it when the red bar gets to the end, wait until ingots show up at the bottom of the list.

I have 3 stones, what should I do to make a stone pile? There is no recipe. If I just need to put them on the ground, then this does not work.

You have to build Stone Pile using stones.

After the author confirmed that it was working for him I started some troubleshooting, I think unsubscribing and resubscribing to the mod has corrected the issue, as when I got back in all 20 ingots were in the campfire. So as of 3-15-22 this is 100% working.

I cooked the scrap ingots until they were complete in the campfire (I did 10 of them) then I selected to move them to my backpack. They vanished, then I waited till they were done and carried the mask and blowtorch etc. over to the fire and tried to make it from there but they vanished.

Is the process of making Scrap Ingot complete? Maybe you are putting Ingots in to the backpack?
Just checked the process and it works fine at least for me. Can you provide more details please?

So, I just cooked some metal into ingots in the campfire to make tongs, but when I pick the ingots up they vanish, so I tried to make it directly from the campfire, it starts gathering the items but fails before it can make the tongs.... does anyone know how I can cheat in the tongs or something?

To make Scrap Ingot put Scap Metal to Campfire

as far as i can tell, I cannot make scrap ingots, which are required by most recipes without the blacksmith skill, or have access to the crafting equipment (stone pile) required. I could be missing something though.

I think they removed blacksmith in the latest version... It breaks this mod. Could you update please?
