i was notified that a post was made to this by the author and I saw some new stuff. so here is just an idea.
white carpet that:
emits too much light/JJ abrams lens flare carpet
or
it can just be a normal carpet.

yellow carpet that:
poisons you with neurotoxins
or
plays a sound clip of sniper saying piss when you step on it (just cause)

About big carpets and armor carpet i think it would be okay to do.

One last suggestion a yellow or orange (your choice) carpet that recharges armor. If you did add this split it into two different versions if you can.

yup, there is a new green carpet, that not insta-heal. It has properties to change. And fixed damage system with blue carpet. When i will push my commits to repository, i will make an light blue carpet. Then more carpets. :steamhappy:

as I was commenting I though of one. Black carpet:
sucks everything around it twords it, props that touch it are (destroyed, disintigrated, or just deleted) when you touch it you (die or disintigrate)
OR
Blinds you (by how much would be up to you)
OR
shoots bombs in random directions that detonate after a random ammount of time.
