@jodi sometime can you try to make the metaverse champions crates and the bundles

i don't think the unused eggs are important unless you are making a dedicated display of those eggs

i added it to the description because while i'd like to think the people that actually care would read the comments that would also be ridiculous because then they'd have to sift through this basic misunderstanding of a comment i made as an announcement.

i could port them. but i don't want to anymore. i have other things to do. now leave it alone.

do what you want even if i didn't care. i don't mind but nobody needs permission to follow some steps if they wanted to do so. i don't have control over that.

and that by the way is for any model you can technically put into roblox studio, you can cut out step 1 if you don't wanna be official and grab any fan thing you want. I just don't want to do it anymore, and i'm passing on the torch to whoever wants to pick it up for me. I have my own projects and things to worry about from henceforth.
And I may play it, but as for porting it, i'm done.

To sum up the outline of what I do, so that if you want to do it, you're able to

1. Find the hat page and then copy the string of numbers into a special url to grab its .rbxm model to download right to your computer (it will just download as a file but it's .rbxm as the extension)
2. open roblox studio
3. open the .rbxm within a world in roblox studio, force its position/rotation to the origin point (0,0,0), right click the model and try and export it as an .obj file.
4. open .obj file in blender, scale the model up by 10, provide whatever collision desired, change the model and material name to whatever you want, export
5. make a .qc file in notepad++, add your model and material directory in there, as well as a few other things. I found a basic one by clonetrooper i think off an old yt video. can link in another comment
6. make sure it all works and its set boom, rinse and repeat for every single egg if you want

doesn't appear to have an 'official' hat page anywhere and without one i can't bring it over.

also wanted to make an announcement that I think I'm gonna end it at 2020's, just because I'm no longer really all that personally attached to it, and I also need a break in various places for the time being, as things have really gotten stressful for me.

However, I can provide a few steps here.

@Maus all the eggs for this year were designed by the devs of each game
Its simply no reskins because they didn't wanna design a reskin

Eggtanic is My favourite Roblox Egg, idk what's so cute about it.

I wonder why Britanegg wasn't a Larger, And Longer Eggtanic with a different color scheme,

an egg being sold for sale on the catalogue makes little of a difference to an egg in the library. difference with these being they were programmed into the games or were going to be by the official team behind each one.

no because i just said i'm only porting official eggs. If we extended that to any fan creation, we'd literally be here forever, because by definition user generated content would also include the hundred million texture hacks kids made of the existing eggs on there.

otherwise yea nothing else has changed. I'm aware of ugc being a thing now, but these are the eggs for the -official- hunt, if i extended it to ones fans made i'd be porting forever and i kinda don't wanna do that, I have other projects to tackle.

All the 2020 eggs are here, merged with all of the original pack eggs. None of the originals have been altered beyond being merged with this pack. Most of the 2020 eggs have custom collision done by yours truly

Alright, a couple of things. The old way of things where there were 2 addons needed due to file size limitations is no longer necessary, addons can be up to 2 GB in size and it'll be a long long time if we ever even reach that point at all, so both roblox egg addons are now in this addon.

i should also clarify, a large number of the eggs this time will be receiving custom collision instead of just getting shrinkwrapped since i know a lot more about the process now. This combined with the fact there's 50 of them again.... hahahaha
in the back of my mind i always knew it'd come back, that it was gone was only a rumour to begin with

yes i completed the hunt also in less than 2 days. because there's 53 eggs though it's going to take a while.
i also want to take advantage of the new update and merge the old addon with this and update the icon, which will also take time to complete.
