I have the music off in the game settings and the level music still plays regardless. Also having an issue with progress not being saved.....unsubbing for now.

@blackangel nah, it's not the end of the world. I was pretty supportive and only offered up thoughts. Not trying to be critical, it's all in the way it's taken.

Simply turn off the music in game settings.

nice map , but whats with the weirdo music every time i have a encounter with a creature? thats driving me nuts. i dont think im going to keep this map because of that sadly...

At first I saw the Chasm mod and installed it, I was one of the first ones. Somehow it took me until last week to learn about Fjördur and that you made Valguero and until now to learn about this. Just keep doing what you need to do.

That green zone is beautiful. If you made another map expanding on that zone, I would play it all day

I actually really like the look of this map, it's beautiful, it's blended, I feel aspects from several dlc maps which is good - keep at it, wonderful map!

I still have plans to somehow finish the map btw. It would however be completely rebuilt since I've learnt so much from working on Chasm, Fjördur and Valguero already. And I also dont have the feeling it really suits the name Tartarus in its current state. ;)
Really hope to have the time to do so at one point, lots of cool stuff in my mind.

A shame this mod is as old as it is. It looks very promising then BLAM i smack the border wall. ^_^

Not complaining but the last update was over a year ago I think they are done with it.

Too all those who say this map or any map is dead, give the modders a chance to do their great work. Guess what? They have a life outside Ark and that takes priority over a game. These modders are doing some great work and all you can do is complain. Learn to mod yourself if you think you can do better.

As for the over zelous part just drop it because now who is the one acting like a over zelous white night a month later after I had already forgotten about this and no I didn't read your entire message because you are a month late to the party and it was over so stop harassing me about it when its over a month old news.

@Curt dude over zealous is being used as the descriptor for White Knight, and you actually fell perfectly into the definition, coming to the aid of the map maker, trying to rescue them from the "mean rude comments". People online are harsh, let them be that way and enjoy the map yourself, spread some positivity instead of stooping the the level you think others were on. It's a good map but, yes its still a work in progress, which is fine too. Let's just enjoy the game as it is now.

Is there only like half of the map available or is that a bug? I can only access a jungle and grassland like area, a part of the desert and a part of the snow biome. Zhen theres a border. I know it isn't finished yet but I can't access things listed as available areas.

If people would swap to the Description tab, they would see most of their questions answered before coming here to ask a question that has been answered.

Dropping some positivity here, it's clearly needed.
So far I've really enjoyed the map, and I especially like the river in the highlands-like area!
Take your time, real life comes first and is more important ^^ Besides, good things are worth waiting for.

To those wondering: yes it's still wip and does have borders. Please remain respectful to each other in comments. Life is much more enjoyable with a positive outlook.

hey curt I have to interject. I didn't see anything impatient nor disrespectful in what Xelriel asked. If anything it saved me from loading the map up and instead opting to wait till it was in more of a finished state. All he did was state that he had tried the map and been discouraged by the borders then come back to it again and wanted to know if it was still being worked on. Its great for the map maker to see that people like it so much they are willing to come and try the map again to see what has been done. "Restraint is a virtue" LEARN SOME. No one likes an over zealous white knight.

Took a look at this map awhile back and was sad that there were so many borders, Came back to look again and same amount of borders, Is this still in production?

trappel22 i was thinking if you could make a mod to the desert area you know cowboy stuff and that. or you could maybe make space for huge build like a city for servers

A well thought out and well designed map IS well worth the wait for a complete map.Take care of life and everything else will fall in place.

@Curt First of all: Thank you very much, glad you enjoy my map so far!

In regards of your question:
I'm not really sure yet. Currently there's a lot going on in my life and other stuff that I have to deal with. Usually when I get home and have time to work on mapping I do whatever I love. Sometimes that can be working on Tartarus, sometimes it can be working on another map (side project of mine for a while now, completely unreleased).
But I hope to get some more time in April to work on mapping and release a new patch within that month.
After that I hope to have more time available during the summer. As you can see it's difficult for me to give you any dates on the 100% mark but I'm doing my best to clear some stuff up and give everyone an idea of when to expect something. Obviously stuff can still change and maybe I can finish a patch earlier!

The most important fact is: this map is by far not abandoned yet, don't worry! Love the map far too much to let it die like that. ;)

I know life happens and the time frame can and will change so I know when you say one, I know it isn't set in stone.

Great. Keeping it fed, just I have to spend a lot of time tracking down the few fish.

Another more minor complaint... when we kill a spino, it often respawns within two mins which is a bit much.
