Great mod but i have never seen AI use march stance again, is this mod an unfair advantage?

Well, on my onging campaign it does not cost 100% but more like 55 - 60%. Maybe its due some passives skills or something, but atleast its not 20% or so, so an improvement nontheless.

Well i get the tooltip with 100% and i cant move in the same turn. AI also not spamming march anymore after attacking something, so i guess it works.

Dont know why the SFO team did not changed that by themselves. Its so annoying and dumb. I spend more time to chase armies who just sack&run all the time than acutally playing.

You would have to check that on your own. I am assuming no, but it is possible. Someone else may be using the mod to see.

i marching stance and full sail only have 75% movement range of the normal stance.

I think there's a problem with vanilla where bonus movement isn't calcualted into things. That's why sometimes if you march 50%, and then try go into encamp but can't, it's because you've got a boost to movement (say the 10% blue line skill) but it's not calculated that 10% and now you're short.

Probably the same thing, this requires 100% of your base movement and isn't accounting for any extra movement you recieve.

Right, Ruby got has the gist of it. You get a tiny amount when you first turn it on. The main thing of this mod is to stop being able to turn it on after you already moved which the AI liked to do.

I imagine it's intended since using 100% of the AP still gives the march movement bonus (which is really small for the initial turn)

@No Guts No Glory - WH1 had a great mod called Expedition March which replaced Force March entirely. Damn shame it's not available for WH2.

@All-- Hi all! I sent out an update for this mod. I added Naval full speed to the table. It now takes 100% AP to go into full speed when in the water same as on land.

Thats literally point of the AI in this game, to provide amusement for me through battles. Not to eternally run around my lands and constantly dodging battles while also attacking poorly defended settlements.

From what I can tell doing what I have done, there isn't really a way that I see to remove it, or increase it only for them. It is all tied together in the table.

Yeah but that also effectively removes Forced March from my own armies which is ... not really wanted given how AI tends to act in this game (constantly running around with raider armies that absolutely ignore supply lines debuff and refuse to engage in fight)

Using my mod as is should pretty much stop what your describing. The ai and us has force march cost the entire ap bar, only usable at 100%. So they would have to sit there for at least one more turn before being able to move even farther.

The only time that may not happen is if your trying to chase someone in water, in which case they are gonna abuse it.

Hey just wanted to ask if its possible to suggest a mod request, removal of forced march for AI. It really gets annoying to constantly chase one stupid git who refuses to fight yet he threathens your cities. And so far, you seem to be the only modder able to do something with Forced March.

Use this and they can't do that unless they really are just camping in this stance.

As for whether there is one to disable it, it could be done, whether it has or not not sure.

My mod sets the AP cost to 100%. You can't turn it on without having that much. After 1 turn of having it on you get the full movement plus an extra 75% since you had to wait a turn. It doesn't reduce movement range at all.

Unfortunately when using Zarkis' The Skaven, which changes the march stance for that race to have a food cost, this mod's changes are lost. Even when this mod loads with priority over that one.
