There is a work around for that, if you equip the armor provided by the mod, the helmets plus all the other cosmetic options will appear.
I really like this feature
I just want to copy everything
I just want to copy everything
@Lucifer No there's nothing unusual with this message
last log has lots of line with
'ScriptLog: [UnrestrictedCustomization] uc_RestrictionDisabler::RevertAppearance : Reverting armor template to what it was for template '??????' '
is this no impact on crash cause?
Thanks for the great mod -- don't think I could play without this anymore.
Otherwise, it would break randomization when MEC Troopers mod isn't enabled.

MEC Troopers essentially uses the human soldier base class with SPARK animations, and Unrestricted Customization filters the respective cosmetic entries, making it impossible to customize their appearance.
UnrestrictedCustomization\Classes\uc_BodyPartFilter.uc
Line 90:
|| _archetype.VanillaTemplate.CharacterTemplate=='SparkSoldier' && ! _archetype.HasPartType(uc_EBodyPartType_Arms)
This line makes SPARK cosmetics other than arms be ignored by the customization filter.
Commenting the line and rebuilding the mod solves the issue, allowing SPARK cosmetics to be equipped on any soldier again.
I'd be happy to provide a hotfixed version of the mod, if the author consents to it.
I may create a fix, but for now you should be able to walkaround it by adding a mod that adds body parts for sparks.
