C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\404530\1118161323\scripts
There, you will find a document called "bigger_cities.lua"
Open this document with either Notepad or Notepad++
It's easier to read in Notepad++ but either will work. You're looking for the line inside of that text document that reads:
return generate_city_old (W, LC, radius*2, startX, startZ, maxPlayerBases)
Change the *2 to *2.5 or even *3
This will give you monstrous sized cities, but be advised they take forever to load!
Would you consider doing a x6 and x8 version for those of us that want them?
I think we need it now :D
Its probably a long way off, but we may need something like this once we have over one hundred plus custom buildings installed!
If you're getting FPS drops, reduce draw distance or disable shadows. Implementing LoD is high on my to-do list, that'll boost all cases-performance
This should be working just by smacking subscribe since 1.0.5
To get the folder out of the workshop folder, go to (Drive)/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/404530/
Well, it worked with the mods folder shenanigans, but using just workshop, I just restarted Steam and created a new turf game and it's still got the default city size. *Shrug*
It should work just by subscribing in 1.0.5
.
I'm currently investivating why it isn't working from the workshop
