Yeah the workshop was new in 2012 I think. So a lot of older addons were uploaded then from back catalogs

Phew. I understand some of the uploads go that far back, but it's crazy to think the workshop has been out that long. I remember the really old garrysmod.org addon days.

It's pretty funny, because this mod is part of a map requirement, I find myself having this model as the oldest mod in my Gmod by a longshot. Then again I also have some models and other things from 2013, 2014, 2015 etc.

Wild to think how long some of Gmod and it's custom assets have been around for.

What's the point of this model for the rp_kashyyyk_jungle map? I've never seen it in the map before. i just installed this now to see if it actually exists in the map, i couldn't find anything. What's the point?

It has the same texture as the other versions. There is really no reason why one of the versions wouldn't work.

I appreciate you asking first.
At first I wasn't too keen on the idea, because many of the downloads would go to you and not me, and not a lot of people read the credits. But then I remembered there is an option to add contributers. So that pretty much changes everything.

So if you add me as a contributer then you have my permission.

All three meshes use the same texture. If one works, the other two should work fine too.
