Love it, thank you so much! I prefer this over "the lore", so thank you so much for making it.
Garfield 3. nov. 2019 kl. 13:48
Honestly even though its not lore friendly it was needed. It always ruined my immersion that alot of these towns had high populations but most of them didnt even have houses, or these cities just felt hollow when you passed through them. Even though most of the houses are locked off and the keep is the same on the interior it makes you feel like youre a part of a bigger world.
Ariksbane 31. dec. 2018 kl. 13:26
It works great unless for any reason you want to use the carriage. Clashes with that. I know a couple of people that would. I was testing this for them.
Maddog -HH- 1. nov. 2018 kl. 18:18
If i could help you i would, i havent bought the creator set.
Maddog -HH- 1. nov. 2018 kl. 18:17
Here i go, i tried out your 3 mods, i like the idea of them, but after walking around i felt cramp, i feel like the walls are too thick, they should be simple 3 ft thick walls tall like they are, the destroyed houses should be fixed and i didnt see a player home, if i did it was not obvious. the towers are too much, the homes in the back by the wall the doors are static, non openable. i think you should spend some time working on the bugs that others have mentioned and as i mentioned. I love the idea and effort and appearance, but i felt like it was excessive. Thank you.
khazan99 19. juli 2017 kl. 17:23
it's a good start, but the added houses have an empty feel to them; there's no arrangement of household items/food, etc to make it seem like an actual place. The NPCs are named simply "Child" and "Commoner", etc. And when you enter the house intended as the player home ("Winterhold Player Home"), you fall through the floor for a few seconds before popping back up.
NugNug 13. maj 2017 kl. 18:20
if people keep on whining about the lore why not the author add some destroyed houses on the out skirts of town an can get the people of winterhold to say that they rebuild most of the city
officialdrada 11. feb. 2017 kl. 16:43
The lore isn't the point sometimes. no one complains about the chicken guard mod being lore friendy.
Darth Vader The Hater 21. mar. 2016 kl. 8:57
Remember people this isn't lore friendly. P.S people still say that Winterhold is a shitty place
Neppa Noppa 12. mar. 2016 kl. 23:09
This literally tears an entire page out of skyrim's lore....
The Psych Doctor 22. feb. 2016 kl. 21:01
I appreciate your efforts and find the town a reasonable fit for what Winterhold might have been. I think the player's home is a nice, quiet getaway from the drafty Archmage's quarters. One suggestion, though. It would seem more sensible to have the stables on the other side of the road, so that the horses aren't facing into the wind and storm. They would be more protected by the hill. Not sure if that's possible, given the lay of the road, but just an idea. Thanks for your work on this ~ I will enjoy the new experience of Winterhold!
TheDrownedCaptain 24. jan. 2016 kl. 16:55
A bit overdone... While Winterhold needs some improvement over vanilla, this is still supposed to be a devastated city in decline.
AKEERA@29 16. dec. 2014 kl. 17:48
NOW THATS A GOOD THE WAY TO DO IT!!
Thrixxon 21. sep. 2014 kl. 22:53
Nice... great idea. Okay, it would be nice to have added a couple of guards more as the town is now bigger and the player house is very basic. But, I like it :)
O24N1NJA42O 12. maj 2014 kl. 14:38
at first i was really stoked but clearly it needs more work A LOT MORE! half the doors dont work! and some of the ones that do lead to nothing! the towns arrangement makes no sense! the players home is useless other than for sleep! needless to say <|---unsubscribed!
Deej 23. apr. 2014 kl. 11:59
This mod is AWESOME FOR ROLE-PLAY, as im making a youtube lets play that takes place in elder scrolls lore about 12 years after the events of skyrim, and a time paradox takes place. You'll find more as the series goes on. WATCH NOW!
Sigma 1. mar. 2014 kl. 17:36
You should add more guards since the city is bigger
EK-WHALE aka P¦r@T€ 飛竜 11. jan. 2014 kl. 6:17
When it's for Solitude ( it's french= Lonyness)
ggggggg
Storm_at_Sea 2. nov. 2013 kl. 1:52
ANyone know if this conflicts with the mod that adds a blacksmith to Winterhold? (It's got a door over near the chicken coupe that leads in the rocks to a cavern- does this mod to anything over there?
Allie 29. sep. 2013 kl. 4:37
LOVE it! Makes winterhold much more alive!
Easy Redbeard 24. sep. 2013 kl. 2:52
Merci buckets, been looking for something like this.
SpectreOne 28. aug. 2013 kl. 20:06
I was looking specifically for something like this, and for a start, it is pretty good. However, those towers facing the guild rub me the wrong way. As per lore (yatta yatta yap yap we all know the story) anyway, the damaged houses should face the guild where-as the walls should face towards the land. I mean who in their right mind is going to attack from a slick icy cliff face with who knows what treacherous beasts live below. (It being part of the Sea of Ghosts and all). Also, the whole rebuild thing was fun for Oblivion (Kvatch rebuilt) and might be fun here as well. Throw in a little twist too if you can (something magical might suffice due to its location (possibility of a psijic return/aid/companion?))
guineapig7 18. aug. 2013 kl. 4:16
I think it's a cool mod because Winterhold always seems really empty. Without this mod there is no real reason to visit Winterhold except for the College. This mod makes Winterhold less boring and empty. Yay!
celestialzebra 16. aug. 2013 kl. 13:00
Oh shut up guys you know this is how winterhold should be. IM getting this mod when i get skyrim. And that would be expensive to build a city just saying.
Farendaire 14. aug. 2013 kl. 15:39
Winterhold as it should be!
Dozer208 8. aug. 2013 kl. 5:12
How about making the whole rebuilding process the quest? Once archmage you'd want to make the college better and rejuvenate the city too as a consequence.
wjhenry8182 21. juni 2013 kl. 6:45
I have the key from the bandits in the abandoned house but its not letting mr react with the house door, any ideas?
TheDakrisder128 31. maj 2013 kl. 5:53
this is cool but it is not lorefreindly since winterhold was destroyed in the great collaspe
gianoel 31. mar. 2013 kl. 4:17
Looks really good so far, thanks for posting this mod because it always annoyed me how it used to be the capital but it was the smae size as riverwood (yes I know some fell away) so thankyou for posting this xx
Big_Hat 22. feb. 2013 kl. 12:13
I don't like all the large stone walls and such. IDK, I just feel the city should feel more open than an enclosed enviorment.
Aeon 19. feb. 2013 kl. 21:43
all the old ruind buildings and rocks still there

SoloRogue 19. jan. 2013 kl. 17:11
I like the idea and look of this, and what Kungfu18 said would make this mod amazing. Understanding the mod limit sixe, perhaps a small quest to prove the college innocence, only avalible after you become archmage, and then a donation/buy feature to build the items with the Jarl. Possibley through in it requires you to be Thane as well?
JorgenK1974 19. jan. 2013 kl. 7:32
I agree with kungfu18, winterhold should be as it is, till the player can as archmage do an investigation to what really caused the great collapse, and the destruction of winterhold and then that the player can help to rebuild it, to regain some of its former glory, while also restore the reputation of he winterholds college.
kungfu18 5. jan. 2013 kl. 3:08
I think this should what Winterhold would look like after the player finds out what was the real cause of the Great Collapse and proving the college's innocence. Then with the help of the college reclaim some of the land that had been lost to the Sea of Ghosts. Then the player donates money and helps in the reconstruction of the city
Qtassi 2. jan. 2013 kl. 12:49
For me every city looks more like a village in skyrim, so i find it nice to add some houses to this "citys". But to whiterun there has to be still some ruins - also after 80 yars - so one can see to what had happend there. thats the story of the town.
thel 25. dec. 2012 kl. 6:33
not skyrim whiterun
thel 25. dec. 2012 kl. 6:33
you know what would be cool to have another companions home at winterhold and not just skyrim you know like the line of company's in the real world
roninbernie 11. dec. 2012 kl. 22:56
I love the idea that Winterhold can become prosperous again after you've done some quests and met some conditions (like investing in Birna's shop.) Maybe somebody in Winterhold could have a special store/garden that grows all the plants for resisiting frost & improving magicka. Or maybe you can go on a quest that will bring in new residents. That would be a significant change in the Winterhold's growth. If only Bethesda included that such quests when you've become its Thane.
Anhora 23. nov. 2012 kl. 13:32
And a Smelter near the Blacksmith would be nice. Also a Stachel on the Alchemy table and litte enchanter Box on the Enchantertable. Like in the Breezhome Mod. :)
Anhora 22. nov. 2012 kl. 6:42
Few bugs found:
-Unable to interacte with the Blacksmith and the npc at the horsesstable
-Helm of Winterhold Quest will be wiped
-Cant store anything in the player house display cases (Just able to open and close them)
Suggestions:
- Please improve the Player House (More more a lot more big bookshelvs please! Need to put my book collection there. :P )
Anhora 22. nov. 2012 kl. 5:00
You should mention this mod seems to wipe the Jarl`s Quest at least. (Not tried the other side quest, like bantids yet) So has to find his Helm of Winterhold and get the reward a second time. *g* :D But nice Mod so far and really something worth trying. Because as a wizard i like to have a house near the Winterhold college. :)
mycastlecellar 21. nov. 2012 kl. 12:12
Finally someone took time to make a decent WinterHold. Thank you Raymond E. Walker for your hard work to improve an otherwise boring town. I gave this Mod a thumbs up.
Promega X KAT 14. nov. 2012 kl. 13:45
Does it add the snow too just like in the picture? I dont really want the snow. (just saying)
Khronickle 10. nov. 2012 kl. 18:47
Question: Why is the Jarl's longhouse so pointlessly large outside and the same inside?
sageofthewabash 10. nov. 2012 kl. 10:44
Blacksmith fails to engage in dialoge. There for I can not buy or sell anything. Oddement Shop proprietor won't unlock and enter her shop. I have not aquired the key for the player house yet perhaps that will cure the bugs. Otherwise promising mod, thanx
baker 9. nov. 2012 kl. 16:03
I like kathi's idea for a quest.
And great mod, can fit it to be lore friendly and cheers up the place. Makes it more lively than depressing.
Awesome job! :D
Kailyn 7. nov. 2012 kl. 7:50
I really like what you've done with WInterhold - it always felt so down to go there before. You asked for a Quest suggestion: How about doing something to improve relations between the townsfolk and the college - gee whiz, you can be archmage and thane you ought to be able to convince both sides to work together.
Black Mage 4. nov. 2012 kl. 11:40
this is great lol, it was alwasy so depressing being the archmage and walking through the city like......wow this place is a downer....now thats fixed :3 ill subscribe and hope my laptop doesnt explode :D
xLethalOrphanx 4. nov. 2012 kl. 11:07
ah i remember what i was gunna say. like maybe you could enter a whole new plane of exsistance in the relm of magic oor something. jw cuz i really thought the mages college questline was really lacking in the secretive keep to ourselfs department. but that is just my opinion. Great work and thank you.
xLethalOrphanx 4. nov. 2012 kl. 11:01
other than that idea great mods man
