@geneticsman yes, if you have several mods installed, they can break each other. The "building slots" one sounds very much like it can interfere with this one.

Thanks for getting back to me daniu! No, unfortunately it does not work for any new games either. I have several of Radious' mods installed, one of which alters building slots. Do you think that might prevent yours from working?

I imgagine it has been a while since you look at this mod, but even though I did everything correctly with the mod manager, it isn't working for me and I'd love to use it. I'm in the middle of a campaign and hoped to use it for upgrading towers quickly. Does it not work on a campaign in progress?

This seems awesome. By the time I always got gatling towers, the city was so far behind my front line, there was about zero chance of it getting sieged and me getting to try them out :(

@Oniwaban: Yes, the changes also affect the AI.
Update on the no-slots thing: I did what I thought would work, but it didn't :/ Seems to me now the game is implemented in a way that it can't be done at all, except maybe by letting castles give a normal build slot (i.e., not defenses-only)...

Sweet! If you can get that to work i'm insta-downloading that! So worth having upgraded towers on the highest difficulties that won't take up a money-making slot.

Yeah I agree with teddy, I'm surprised the towers take up a whole slot in your settlement when they are in fact situated in the fort!? I'm deffinately trying this, I always ignored these techs before.

ive played over 600 hours on shogun and never botherd with them for the same reasons. personaly i still think i wound have moved on by the time they were built on this mod. also its usualy a waste of a slot in your city which could be used for making money. i think addind to the city walls would be good :)

I felt the same way, I did get the towers but they were a big disapointment, they just shot slightly faster than the matchlocks, not worth the cost and time as it was. good work on this.

Great, let me know how it plays out. I was tempted to reduce even more, but with the price reductions you get at higher levels, stuff becomes really cheap; and the techs have additional buffs after all.
