revamped almost every modded race in minor ways. Each species has a definite different feel from the others.

Viera revamp


someone posted about Viera needing a revamp. They were largely correct.


Viera are now different (and more useful):

+ Tweaked their stat bonuses. They now get -20% health, and +15% energy
+ tweaked their Hunger rate. It should be far more reasonable
+ Added weakness to Shadow damage. Watch out around Elder enemies!

+ 30% bonus damage with daggers
+ Bow Mastery perk now does +25% bow damage, and grants +15% energy when using bows
+ their Shield bonus now restores energy as usual, but they also gain Energy Regen rate when using a shield at all. It isn't a significant boost, but reduces the time from 1.5 seconds to 1.35 seconds. Enough to make a real difference in battle!
+ 15% bonus damage and energy when using Staves and Wands


this makes them a viable choice for those who like ranged fighters, while giving them a slight advantage (especially given their squishy health pool) in close-quarters when using a dagger + shield. They are more interesting, thats for certain!

* tweaked weakness scripts. The damage dealt has been corrected:

- Previously, it did not state the extra damage dealt. It now does. This damage ignores defenses and is not applied as elemental damage. It is unblockable.

- The math for damage done was incorrect. It was doing base + base x2, rather than base x 2. So, you'll also be taking less overall damage from your weakness.

Fenerox now get a bonus with spears

Glitch lose 1 point of protection, but gain a passive +1 protection whenever a shield is equipped

the following has changed:

Pretty much every single vanilla race weapon bonus. Seriously. Go look at the race splats on the linked page when you get a chance to do so. A lot is different. You'll see a great many changes to weapon bonuses now, since I can now pinpoint specific weapon types.


*MOD AUTHORS*: This means if you have special case weapons for your race that you want supported in FU, you need only include a new tag in the weapons itemTags definitions. Toss me a message and I can give you more info if needed.


additionally:

-removed Slime race fire weakness as per request of Xel, the mod author

- rejigged the Apex rather heavily, including additional downsides...but a lot more upsides too! They have a lower speed bonus now, however. It felt too high, and is now 8% rather than 11%.
