Update: 15 May, 2023 @ 5:57pm

The first level of Steel Mills now produces less rings. However Iron Mines, Gold Fields and Gold Mines now produce rings.

Update: 15 May, 2023 @ 4:03pm

Welcome to the Topaz update. Several Gems have been updated to have more deposits. Topaz has a value of 160 and is similar to Opal. The picture it has could be better but the original one was significantly more immersion breaking.

Update: 14 May, 2023 @ 4:39pm

Fishing now provides Pearls because I do what I want. Not a lot of Pearls but a decent amount.

Update: 11 May, 2023 @ 5:14am

Improved Pearl Image, added Opal, Opal has a value of 120 and all deposits are known about immediately because why not? Of course they aren't fully developed yet for balance. Localization added to patch holes I just discovered. Added Rings to the Luxury Items Needs because why not? Jewel Cutters, something I've wanted to get around to for a while, now allow you to turn Gems into Gemstones. Finally figured out how to get the Good Icons to pop up, so it's no longer immersion breaking. You can now make the Jewelry Good.

Update: 5 May, 2023 @ 3:11pm

Increased Gemstone production to its proper level for one of Diamonds production methods. Reduced number of Diamonds used by Diamond-Tipped Tools to make it less annoying.

Update: 26 Apr, 2023 @ 6:31pm

Because balance is dead and I have killed it, for every 20 Gems a building produces, it produces *1* Gemstone. Also Steel Mills will temporarily also produce Rings, not a lot but more than you'll need.

Update: 19 Apr, 2023 @ 10:16am

Fixed the typo which prevented Subsistence Fishing Villages from producing Pearls.

Update: 19 Apr, 2023 @ 10:07am

Subsistence Fishing Villages now produce an equal number of Pearls instead of Rings. Because otherwise there would literally be no supply of Pearls early on.

Update: 19 Apr, 2023 @ 9:48am

Added in Rings (This covers lower quality Jewelry as well), Gemstones (Representing Cut Gemstones, like the ones you have in Jewelry), and Jewelry (This includes more fancy and high quality Jewelry, if it has a Gemstone included, this is what you think of). Subsistence buildings will provide an initial small supply of Rings, as of my tests this is balanced and everyone has more rings than they need even despite how few rings they produce, this is because Rings are an extremely low demand good. Jade, the Imperial Gem of China, has been added as well, coming to a value of 125, Jade has a prestige value twice that of Diamond. There are a lot of small Jade sources in China, however most of them are undiscovered and super small, China's been excavating Jade for several thousand years and has depleted many of the old mines. I also added in new state traits because I'd like to add names to specific parts of the map. I'm probably going to nerf them in the future.

Welcome to the "Sapphire" update. This adds a lot of Corundum deposits to the world, and places where Ruby and Sapphires both exist have gained more levels, this means that several 'Ruby' deposits that previously were hidden are now known about at game start. Since Corundum no longer represents just Ruby, it now has a custom Good Icon, of what I hope is Corundum, I'm not 100% sure if it is or isn't.
