v1.4

Fourth Patch

This patch has a bunch of more balance changes that were made based on feedback received for Nox.

All Changes:
-JAB 1 is more difficult for opponents to interrupt.
-JAB 2 now sends opponents upwards upon hit.
-Significantly decreased the landing lag on ALL aerials.
(NAIR: 7 > 4)
(FAIR: 9 > 5)
(UAIR: 10 > 6)
(BAIR: 11 > 7)
(DAIR: 9 > 6)
-Slightly increased the speed of USPECIAL in both normal and Swift Mode states.
-Slightly decreased the size of NAIR's second hitbox.
-Properly added Nox's hurtbox for aerial NSPECIAL.
-Updated Nox's pratfall animation.


That's pretty much it for this update, landing combos should be much easier to pull off now, so go nuts!

Third Patch

This update features a fair amount of art changes that spice up Nox's CSS screen, and even adds several compatibilities for him as well! Of course, there's also a few balance changes included.

Art Changes:
-Added various icons to Nox's css that change depending on the selected color swap/alt.
-Some of Nox's alts have been re-ordered.
-Some alts were given minor color changes.

Added Compatibilities:
-Kirby
-The Chosen One
-WALL-E
-Miiverse
-Hikaru
-Mt. Dedede Arena

Balance Changes:
-Reduced DSTRONG's Swift Mode hitpause.
-FSPECIAL's finisher has less endlag.
-Slightly increased knockback on the first hit of UAIR.

Second Patch

This update mostly changes hitpause related stuff, but there's a few other balance changes in here as well.

Changes:
-Reduced hitpause on JAB 1 and 2.
-Adjusted the position of DTILT's sweetspot.
-Adjusted the angle of DTILT's sourspots (50 > 52).
-Changed around DTILT's hit sound effects.
-Reduced FTILT's normal and Swift Mode hitpause.
-Reduced BAIR's normal and Swift Mode hitpause.
-Reduced NAIR's normal and Swift Mode hitpause.
-Reduced UAIR's Swift Mode hitpause.
-Slightly adjusted the position of FAIR's final hit.


That should pretty much take care of all the nooks and crannies I found. I may decide decide to add some compatibilities to Nox in the future, but those won't come for quite some time. If I find any other changes, then I'll probably throw them in another quick patch unless they aren't too substantial. Thanks again for playing Nox!

Day One Patch

This update for Nox contains various a bunch of quality of life improvements based on feedback that I have received, along with some stuff that I thought could be adjusted.

Misc. Changes:

-Made minor adjustments to certain color palettes.
-Adjusted the animation strips on the last window of FAIR.

Balance Changes:

-When Swift Mode is active, all attacks now deal additional hitpause.
-JAB 3 has less endlag.
-DATTACK's sweetspot has had its hitpause increased.
-FAIR has been adjusted to connect more consistently, with wider hitboxes and more knockback on the multihits.
-FAIR and DAIR each now have 3 additional frames of endlag.
-USPECIAL's super armor now lasts for 20 frames instead of 30 upon startup.
-USPECIAL's recovery can now be cancelled out earlier.
-Reduced the lifetime and hitpause of FSPECIAL's finishing hitbox.
-All aerials excluding BAIR have had their landing lag reduced.
(NAIR: 10 > 7)
(FAIR: 11 > 9)
(UAIR: 11 > 10)
(DAIR: 10 > 9)


That's all of the changes for the time being, but there will probably be more changes on the way. Also, thanks so much for all of the positive feedback on Nox recently!
