May be a little late here, but yes, there exists a robo engi. They usually appear in some waves (don't remember which) and usually sets up a sentry nest and their teleporters allows for more areas for more mvm bots to spawn. I may remember things wrong. i haven't played Tf2 MvM and in general for years

Wait, does Robo-Engi exist? The far-right model is the Sentry Bruxter (correct me if I'm wrong), who adds the total roster up to 9, rather than the 10 it would be if Engi was there.

Here's what I think what happened.
The year was 2000, Saxton Hale and Zephania Mann were working together to build world protecting robots.
Until Zephania felt like he was in Saxton's shadow, so he did the worst option available, he sabotaged the robots... and then tried ruling the world himself. He took the robots, and grabbed random mercenaries, they all fought Saxton, 1 by 1. But they had to work with Saxton (and had to kill every single sentient soup-can in that facility).
